Thanks for the review! I'm glad you like the character. I could have started off with a bigger "kick," but the series isn't about breakneck action. It's a spy-type mystery, and I wanted to set it up in a quiet but deadly type mood. I'm glad that seems to be the feeling my readers are getting from it. ^_^ Outsider Within: Web of Deceit - Part One by TashniThis wouldn't, by chance, be the story yo wrote for NaNoWriMo, would it? I recognize the name, D.A. Thank you for the nice long review, Wolf! And now that I think about it, I did write Vosh and Henka's intros in NaNo, but that's about it. Now I remember! Didn't I ask you to read the beginning for me or something? *shrugs* I was worried that first sentence might be a bit much, but I liked it. ^_^" I am so glad you liked the pace of this chapter. I'm really trying to establish a certain mood. *does happy dance* YAY! My goal exactly. I have a problem with "warming up my engines" as my dad likes to put it. You know . . . bringing up all sorts of interesting stuff that isn't at all important and THEN taking off with the plot. I hope you like the rest of the chapters! I tried to make each chapter build up just a little bit more than the last. Did I? *goes to check* GAH!!! I did. *sobs* So many hours of editting and I miss something as obvious as that. Oh well. Hopefully most people aren't as observant as you. ;P I can understand that, but I wanted to show the reader that Henka has "ways" of "knowing stuff." His eyes are everywhere . . . THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU everyone who is reviewing "Outsider Within" for me. ;D ;D ;D

Kat, I think I have to read the previous series you wrote. XD It looks awesome from what everyone's saying! [shadow=purple,left,300]XDDDDDD If you're willing to go through 12 parts, then good luck. XD[/shadow] In, Through, and By Brotherhood by KatI admit it - this is the first Rohane/Ruben story I've read. But despite that, I enjoyed it muchly! And it's made me want to read the realted stories even more. Good job, Kat! Keep up the good work! [shadow=purple,left,300]That sounded too much like a pairing. XDDDDDDD Thanks, Birdy! Alima's Tales: The Broken Mirror - Renna and XayPardon me for being the grammar freak that I am, but maybe it would have been smoother if the comma were a period, and 'the' was capitalized. But I really liked the story - simple, yet heartwarming, and I can really relate to it because I'm a big sister who also admits to having a sibling who can be a pain sometimes. XD Maximus Insanitus - VytI like the Shoyru's sparkling eyes in the second panel. XDDDDD Ah yes, the virtue of giving. The clock on the upper right corner of each panel was also a nice touch. The art was very subtle - I liked it. No Comment: Crossover - Tirilia and HuntressXDDDDDD I love the dramatic irony, the simplicity of the joke and the Zafara's expressions. Spooky - KomoriThat was too awesome. XD Both the style and the joke. Komori, you amaze me. Amikarashui - Bluecloud300I've always wondered the same thing. XD Amazing healing powers, my staff. Cute style! In Honor of Grey Day - ScarvogueThat's so sad. XD Really. I swear, this isn't a pun! No, wait, I think it is. The joke was priceless...wait, this isn't one of my puns again, is it?[/shadow]

Amikarashui #2 by bluecloud300Oooh, good artwork! I like it. The joke was good too. In Honor of Grey Day by ScarVogueAwww, the poor Gelert. Anywho, good job! I enjoyed reading this. I think that Razzle Dazzle - Episode XI by khestrel was missed. :) (Or are they a member? I thought they were...) Khestrel is a member, though I'm not sure how often she's able to be on. (She does poke in occasionally, though.) And... Thanks for reminding me about it! I really enjoy the series, and I forgot to look this week for it. :( Razzle Dazzle - Episode XI by khestrelI am still awed by your art style, and I really do enjoy your comic, as I said above. It's not all for humor, but it's definitely great nonetheless. I'm a bit confused on your use of "insinuating," though, as its meaning makes no sense in the way you have used it here.

Maximus Insanitus by hehe041578The art was really great (I just love the Shoyru and Usul's expressions--they are amazing!), though I somehow missed the joke... I'm assuming that random events was what the Usul was referring to, not like getting past the Snowager, but it confused me. The dialogue I put in the last panel wasn't really a good joke floater. I was thinking of other dialogues to replace it (most probable was the Count Von Roo reference), but none came up better than the Snowager dialogue. Or a better excuse would be because I already drew the comic before making the dialogue, and I got lazy on the last panel XDDD [shadow=purple,left,300] Maximus Insanitus - VytI like the Shoyru's sparkling eyes in the second panel. XDDDDD Ah yes, the virtue of giving. The clock on the upper right corner of each panel was also a nice touch. The art was very subtle - I liked it.[/shadow] This comic will be the last one to receive that kind of art style. Still, thanks for liking the art Maximus Insanitus by Vyt"The rooftop escalated." XDDDDDDDDDD....what? That's FUNNY! Totally loved the art style, and the ever-ticking clock. Great job! Maximus Insanitus by hehe041578 The rooftop escalated! Hehehe, way to get excited when the event is already over. Very cute. XDDD Glad you two liked the side joke. To be honest, the first thing my sister (the one who came up with the idea for this comic) noticed when she first received the Birthday Toolbar was the disappearance of the ads! We both thought adding this to the comic would look fantastic --- Thanks for commenting, everyone!

Spooky #50This was naturally the very first comic I looked at when I saw that the latest issue of the NT was up . The description also made me think that it might be 3D! I mean, not like you don't have the skillz to do an entire comic in 3D xD. This was awesome! Now we can all say we saw you.. well, we did! xD. Wouldn't it be cool if someone came up with an entire comic without drawing? I remember someone once used their own photos for backgrounds and drew over them, but making your own costumes would be really cool! I imagine, too, that each comic would take less time to make (although there would be an large investment of time at the very beginning, since you'd have to make your costumes and basic props). It'd be awesome xD. Anyway, back to your comic.. hmm. The only thing I don't like about it is that you didn't use your spiffy writing for the speech bubbles . Pure awesomeness, way to celebrate your 50th! Like someone earlier on in the thread mentioned, I can't wait to see what you'll do for your 100th comic xD.

[shadow=red,left,300]Outside Within: Web of Deceit - Part One[/shadow]
Oh, man. This is an absolutely awesome beginning. Not much plot or action, but the characters are fantastic, and while you gave little hint of what the plot is going to be when it thickens, this chapter certainly gave a sense of crap waiting to hit the fan. Chief Henka is really cool as a good guy with the air of a villain (or would it be the other way around?), and I love how D.A. is calm, cool, strong, and totally on top of her game no matter who she's dealing with. Even when she's offering deference to someone whom she no doubt knows doesn't like her, she loses none of her strength and calm dignity, and I find that really cool. I also like how she knows how to zing Henka without giving him anything on her. I really look forward to Part Two!

A close Shave: Excellent story, and worthy of the neopian times. I loved the topic as well. Adopted: What It Meant For Me: This story was just so caring and lovely, and I loved it:) Razzle Dazzle - Episode XI:Interesting, but the font was really bad. That's all my reviews for now =P

Comics[glow=blue,2,300] No Comment: Crossover- Soo Thirsty..[/glow] XDD That’s great. Such a simple joke, easy to relate to, and the many panels of great art drag out Saura’s efforts so you really get the sleepy waking-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night feeling. I like the sleepy evening shading, with the bright moonlight coming in. I particularly like the scene with Saura getting water from the sink. I love the expressions—the perfect just-waking-up look in bed, then the determined face as he goes to the sink, and then the groggy look of doing something you don’t really want to do but have to do while he’s at the sink. He has a perfect Mrgm,-I’m-finally-back-in-bed look when he gets back with the water. It’s partly due to all of those facial expressions that the last panel is as funny as it is. ^^ It’s also nice that this joke doesn’t really play off of Neopets, and a lot of people have done the same thing so it’s easy to relate to. XD [glow=blue,2,300] Spooky #50[/glow] Ohemgee, Komori. You never cease to amaze me. I knew you were doing something special for your fiftieth comic, but this never crossed my mind. When I saw the caption about having gained a dimension, I also thought it might have been done in 3D. Congratulations on being able to surprise us all—I never would have guessed what you did for this comic. I’ve seen a few comics done with photographs, which I’d always found interesting, but never one involving cosplaying. Not to mention a well-done cosplay like this. Love the little Halloween Rock. It almost looks real. :3 This comic is awesome on so many levels. This comic is such a shocking deviation from your usual distinct style, yet so well done… and it even has a good joke, too! Making your comic come to life is definitely a perfect way to celebrate an important milestone like this. Speaking of which, congratulations. Wow, fifty Spooky comics. The only thing I can see that might not be quite right here (besides the Comic Sans—I’m so used to your hand lettering that it was a bit jarring XP) is how Tombstones is grinning instead of looking contemplative or frustrated. The mask is awesome, but the fact that it only has one expression is a bit of a drawback. Still, altogether, a fantastic, one-of-a-kind comic. ^_^ To many more! [glow=blue,2,300] Amikarashui #2[/glow] Heehee, that was quite amusing. The Healing Faerie’s powers are frustratingly inconsistent indeed… The art is really nice, smooth and pretty to look at. And it’s a Water Faerie, yay! ^^ She looks so pretty the wy you draw her. I like her different expressions from panel to panel. The soft rainbow background is pretty too. My only complaint would probably be with the Aisha’s word balloons in the last couple of panels… since up to this point the faerie’s dialogue was on top, it’s a bit disorienting for it to suddenly switch in the last panel. And since the Aisha had asked a question in the preceding panel (a rhetorical question, apparently, but a question nonetheless), the reader expects the next word balloon to belong to the faerie. Still, a very good comic. ^^ How dare anyone laugh at a water faerie as helpful as the one at the Healing Springs? >> [glow=blue,2,300] In Honor of Grey Day[/glow] The opening panel has given me this sudden, alarming memory of a little book I read as a kid called Little Miss Sunshine… *goes quiet* Hehe, the comic is cute but sad. The poor Gelert… the art is simple but cute. The punchline isn’t exactly fast or strong, but it’s still a cute comic, and I do like how all the gray pets are the same shade. The afternote could’ve been done away with, I thought, although I understand you might have wanted to wish a happy gray day (the classic oxymoron…). [glow=blue,2,300] Maximus Insanitus[/glow] I love the art. Very smooth and colorful. :3 The Shoyru’s expressions in particular are great. Escalating rooftop indeed… I like how the background is a Neopets page, and you can see the sidebar and everything. Very nice idea. And the clock was nice, although I admit I didn’t pay a lot of attention to it the first time I read through the comic because it looked almost like background scenery. ^^; I think I must be missing something, because I found the punchline a little confusing. I understand what the gag should be, but the Shoyru’s exact text doesn’t seem to fit—how was it the Usul’s idea to wake up the Snowager, or to try any random game for that matter? Also, in the second panel, it could be a little confusing with the Shoyru’s word balloon being on the left, where we read first, even though the Usul is speaking first. Still, a nice comic with lovely art. ^^ The birthday Blumaroo’s sidebar’s idea of luck seems to be a little wacky sometimes. XD

Article[glow=blue,2,300] Shenkuu: The Brink of Economic Success[/glow] Heehee, that was a cute article. ^^ It’s nice to see Cory…er, his family coming back. The article felt like a cross between an informative article an a humorous one… I think it was leaning more towards the humorous side, but you made it amusing enough to warrant that. Shen Kuu… *chuckle* I like how the main character lets Kuu do most of the talking, since Cory’s not particularly interested in the excursion herself. The appearance of Cornelius was nice. *snerk* Unfortunately, that’s how it went with me and Godori. Eye of the Storm is easy, but it wasn’t mentioned here. I’m not sure what to think of the footnotes. They can be amusing, but I’m not in the habit of scrolling down to the bottom before I’m finished reading, so by the time I get down to them I’ve mostly forgotten what the single stars were referring to. Overall, though, a cute article. ^^

Short Stories[glow=blue,2,300] In, Through, and By Brotherhood[/glow] Aww, that was a sweet story. It was really interesting to see Rohane and Reuben’s letters, especially since I already knew the characters. Nice to see the brothers in a more friendly, casual situation. Their teasing was amusing to read, as well. ^^ The ending was very sweet. Victory at last! But somehow I think this is just the start. XD I suppose this story would be difficult to understand if you hadn’t read your previous stories, but for someone who had read them, this is a lovely look into the characters’ personalities, as well as an important close to a chapter in the journey. :3 I can’t wait to see the next part of this ever-continuing series. [glow=blue,2,300] Chronicles of the Court Rogue: Witchcraft[/glow] Oh… my…gosh. XDDDD The title intrigued me, but it sounded more like a serious subject than a comedic one. That changed as I read through the story. I don’t know how you come up with these things, Nim. They’re fabulous. At first it seemed like the package would be the main subject of the story, but it soon became clear that that was just a gimmick to get Mareian into that town (unless we’ll be seeing the package get opened later?). The hilarity began about as soon as the blue Ixi showed up, and it only got stronger and stronger as the story went on. You already had me grinning over the issue of Mareian knowing the names of the witches, and I couldn’t stop reading from there on. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, every bit of it. Ach, I know that hope all too well… too bad it always seems to turn out that way. The story got really hilarious during the trial involving the Mallard. Brilliant, just brilliant. I was practically dying of laughter while the Mallard was running around and Mareian was being accused of bewitching it. I wouldn’t have known what to say to that either… …Roffle! XDD You know, I’ve met people who think this way. o_0 Apparently you have, too. First things first: “pour” should be “pore”. And… Mareian can’t read? 0_0 I thought Jeran taught her. Ack, must go refresh my memory of past stories! My only regret about this story is that I’ve haven’t seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail. ._. [glow=blue,2,300] Alima’s Tales: The Broken Mirror[/glow] Aw, that’s a really cute story. ^^ I quite enjoyed it, despite the simple plot. The quarrel between the Meerca and his sister feels quite realistic, and I liked how his grumbling reaction to the close of his mother’s story, rather than understanding things immediately. It’s nice how he likes his sister and yet is annoyed by her; quite realistic. ^^ People have already pointed out the dialogue paragraphs issue, so I won’t mention it—I didn’t have a lot of trouble understanding the story, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind. I thought the mother’s story was quite nice (aww, the little Snowickle wuvs his bracelet… *cough*) and I liked how you tied it in with the situation at hand. The end was indeed predictable, but it was still an enjoyable cute little story. ^^
