A Negg Tale by evilhamster13I really enjoyed reading this story--I was laughing the entire way through it! It's really no wonder you got the quote of the week, you should know. ^_^ The characters were all balanced out, and that was quite good. The plot was rather straightforward, but it was enjoyable to read. I really liked this story, of course, definitely. Great job. Wisp opened her mouth, closed her mouth, and then sighed and picked up a magazine (“Neopian Living”, Month of Swimming, Y2.) This sentence seems to be missing end punctuation. Unfortunately, the hand she used was covered with grease from the Fruity Snack-um Grease Chipz offered on the boat from Mystery Island to Terror Mountain. Should've had Pringles. “Anyway, now. do you see the picture?” That "do" needed to be capitalized or the period before it needed to be a comma. “Hmm. Interesting,” said the TNF Isn't that being a bit redundant, "the The egg Faerie"? Anyways, typos regardless, I quite enjoyed this story - it was awesome! ...I hate ypots XD Thank you, Wolf ^_^ next time I'll go through the story once or twice for typos before sending it in. by the amazing BrainsWell, first of all, great job changing something which draws so heavily on human elements of Neopets (transfering, the Neoboards, etc.) into something that was enough about the game to write an article about =3 I especially like the way GUP has been turned into a "band of fearless rebels travelling the roadways of our fair planet in support of a cause beyond any Neopia has seen before it," because it's pretty much true. Very cool how you interviewed fictional characters, because it's much less likely to blow up in your face than interviewing, or pretending to interview, a real user, which would be kind of hard to do anyway. And the part at the end where you said 'GUP!' and were buried in mail was all too true >.> but in the midst of allthe amusing cleverness that kept your article interesting and usable, you made some good points about GUP and their mission, and the remarks of Sock and Sloth pointed out some of the reasons that real supporters/haters of GUP feel the way they do. Great job =D Faerie Wars: Tactics by the splooshy BelleYay. I liked this one because it provided all this specific trivia-type stuff about each sort of faerie. And the remark about living in a closet these past few days just helped to imply that it was about a plot (I love the way all you guys did that without being obvious about it!) I especially liked all the little interview-type sections on their preferences, strengths, defenses and such, which helped to chracterize each side and make them interesting. And their mottoes were clever. Faerie Wars: Which Side To Choose? by the pwnsome KittyAh, the infamous "it's just an article by a user!" article >.> I already read this article when you posted it here for reviews, so I dont really have anything new to say, except that I couldn't find anything wrong with it and the "100% reliable news source" line rules XD The Dirt on the Earth Faeries by that squirrel (over there on a tree, see it?)Evil Earth faeries? =0 who would've thought it? What I like about this article is that it's easy to see a reader start off thinking "This girl is a lunatic," but slowly be won over to your side by the end of the article... or maybe they'll just keep thinking you're a lunatic but still be highly amused by your article X) That's a good point about their wings o.0 next time I see an Earth Faerie soaring high above me, I'll run for cover. That was a nice touch, have Storm show up at the end, and the third-to-last line was funny. It certainly explains why you're so fervent about Earth faeries XD |

The Elderly Delinquents: Rumble at Roo Oaksby simsman24000 Wow, Sims, long time no see. ^^ OMG -- it’s Foghorn Leghorn. ;D Ohh… they’re so dead. *reads the next five sentences* Yep, they’re dead. Love the Interrupting Kau. On one level, you can understand why he’s there, and on the other you can understand why the residents don’t like him very much. *grin* I was a little confused by the “fluttered away” part -- he’s a Faerie Kau? And it’s so typical that nothing was actually solved, you almost get the feeling they start the arguments just to have something new to do.

Love the opening layout of the war.
Oh dear. I have the odd mental image of the new faerie. The Steam Faerie.
It would have been nice if an explanation of her smell was explained though, other than ‘she just really stank’… Maybe explain that she always smells of soot because her fire magic wasn’t always under control or something…
I like how Well wasn’t fooled for a moment, but still gave Smelly a way out and went out of her way to give Smelly some dignity.

Welcome To Mondayby tazmanianunicorn …I’m reviewing this on a Monday.  (Moon day… who doesn’t like the moon?) Heh, and I really do have three younger pets and one adult pet.  Except I think after all this, Azure wouldn’t be taking this quite so calmly -- he’d just got tell me what to do with myself and go off to work. *snerk* One could only wonder if ending up in a land made of jelly that obviously doesn’t exist is also something that would only happen on a Monday. ;D

Ohhh… I wish there was a Negg Faerie quest. I mean, get some items for her, and receive yummy Neggs…

Okay, the Hannah/Snowbeast thing made me snort tea out my nose. Ow.
I really like Lorissa, she’s just so… happily, nicely oblivious.

Pointless Nonsense - Faerie Warsby petfriendamy I’m not sure why (maybe it’s the dark eyebrows?) but the Acara seems really angry all the time.  It’s the battle that never ends… Eventually you’d think one of them would run out of magic. …That could take awhile though.
Knick Knack - Faerie Warsby pokemon_lunatic and ghostkomorichu One wonders why Earth wasn’t mentioned… *suspicious look* What’s wrong with the idea of endless food? Love the different Faerie’s expressions.
The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Failureby manda314 and bird_brain314 *snickers* Smelly’s “I’m sneaking” pose is awesome. Smelly’s facial expressions were perfect, though Well’s seemed a little… plastered. Of course, that could be the whole, “I’m not bothered by you…” thing going. The Happiest Quiggleby nut862 The Fire Faerie’s not too bright is she. If Illusen was on a ‘side’, she’d be on Earth, since she’s an Earth Faerie… Heh, of all times for a plan to backfire. It’s good that Ruben managed to straighten out. Though reading Rueben and Ruben gets me confused. If Rueben and Andrea ever did hook up, boy would it get confusing…

Pointless Nonsense - Faerie Warsby petfriendamy Hehehe, ah, a prank supported. This particular comic was very... blue. Two blue pets against a blue sky, then a blue water faerie... It sure made Blaze stand out. I liked the comic overall, though... "This is gonna last a while." Ha ha ha... Knick Knack - Faerie Warsby pokemon_lunatic Because in the middle of a war, Storm would be making sure all the island pets got a good breeze. I'm mostly thrilled that you helped with the prank. PS- Komori: nice job with the art! The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Failureby manda314 and bird_brain312 Aw, give Smelly a break- I bet it's hard for fire Faeries to take baths. Cute idea, and I love Smelly's look! The Happiest Quiggleby nut862 First off, I LOVE your Jodi! She is exactly the way she should be. Thanks for addressing Illusen's role; I wondered about her. The joke in the last panel is great; "I'm moving to the haunted woods." I laughed. 
Shiny: Faerie Warsby Tamia_Silverwing And so the much-discussed coffee shop exists. Haha, I loved this comic. The art is fabulous; I love the casual attacks that happen over the heads of the two pets. My favorite part of the whole thing is probably Glare's attacks; I totally dig the glowing finger. Great punchline, and great comic in general! Meow?by edddibgaz ha ha! I adore the last panel! The Koi's expression is priceless, and just how ironic the phrase "Earth is invading!" sounds out of context. The ad at the bottom was a nice touch, too. Well done! And the Meepits Outgrabeby Kittylin I. Loved. This. Comic. The art and story are both fantastic, and I love the Lupe's line at the end, and the contrast between him and the faerie. Ahhahahaha! This wins my "favorite comic of the moment" award.

Wow, lots of reviews. *shiny* The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Failure by manda314. Well looks so snooty. XD I love how you drew Smelly as well...with those wavy lines to show how, er, smelly she is. Hehe. Exactly what I was going for. I didn't think I really made the lines that visible, but nothing else worked. I'm glad I was wrong. Thanks. And in the last panel Well's mouth should've been opened. The cloudy outlines of the panels felt as if it was a flashback or something, as that's what cloudy outlines usually signify in comics. But still, a nice comic ^^ The expression in the second panel is great. Ugh. I can never seem to get proportions right in anything I draw. >_< Prolly cuz' I draw everything separately and then resize and paste them in. Thanks for the review and tips.
