The Hall of Mirrorsby dan4884 Ohh… The Deserted Fairgrounds, at night, in a storm… creepy… I love the fact that you’re using a gold pet. No one ever uses the metallic pets. Though you seem to be gaining an affinity for Gelerts… Now you can’t tease me for my Lupes.  I do feel like there should be been something… physical… when Charlie got sucked into the mirror… Like a weird flattening feeling, maybe? It just seems odd that he’d just open his eyes and suddenly be in the Nimmo’s place… but that’s me being really nitpicky. *grin* Perfect for this time of year, with Halloween getting so close. ^^

Little Orby - TashniWow, Tashni, I feel this is your best artwork in the Orby series yet! Very nice, indeed! And Fyora is just beautiful, very enchanting! ...yet, I found her text somewhat hard to read... I loved the joke, I honestly did, though whereas Psycho "aww'd", I burst out laughing! LOL! Really, it was great! But...I don't understand the thought-bubbles of the Space Station. However, I still loved this Little Orby! Good job. You like my art, yay! Thanks. About the space station, you'd have to have read "Obulon Has Landed" to understand the reference. Orbulon was very content living on the Space Station, but he accidentally fell down to Neopia and has been trying to get back to the station ever since. |

Five Years of Food Club

I must confess… I’d completely forgotten that Food Club even existed. Oops. So it took me a second to figure out exactly what you were talking about.
Halfway though, I remembered why… I can’t follow the dratted thing to save my life. (Not the article, just the whole eating competition thing.) Though there were times when I had to re-read some of what Tailhook was saying, pirate talk is one of my hard to comprehend things.
I do like how you kept Tailhook in character throughout the entire thing -- Characters like him are tough, at least they are for me. ^^

Some of the quote boxes were a little … fuzzy. I’m not sure if that was on purpose, but especially the purple Shoyru on the couch was hard for me to read.
I love Sloth’s just panicked expression. ^^

I love the wistful look on his face, as he’s imagining himself back home, back in his own bed… and then the look of just utter disappointment when Fyora just brushes him off.

Err, is it just me, or does one of the trees in the background grow and loose and grow a bellybutton. *looks closer* Or is it just ectoplasm? VonRoo’s eyes are creepy. The last panel is patricularly good. Little Orby - TashniAwww. The poor orby. A nice idea and well drawn. Good job. The art is wonderful, and the transformation is incredibly awesome...even if it does bring to mind, for me, a bit of mould... But, it is still pretty cool.
I found the text a bit hard to read, but it really made the joke!

Comics for now, short stories providing I have the time tomorrow. ^_^ Brothers'n'Sister - Twisted Luck (Paint Brush Luck) II - KamikatzeI quickly went and read the first part of this comic, though I didn't find it as funny as the joke should have been, I feel. Moving on to this comic, I found it was much funnier than the first. I did notice a few tiny details that you missed, however - in the second and fifth panels, part of the wall is white, and in the first two, the triangle behind the picture's wire is also white. Aside from that little bit, I found the art was beautiful - and the Neopian at the end! Well...Sloth will be having nightmares for quite some time. ^_^ Very nice job overall! Oh... thanks for pointing that out, I haven't seen it on my freaking laptop screen... I'll be more careful next time. *whacks laptop* *fizzzz* Ooops, not good...  |
