Cry for a Queen by precious_katuch14 and laurelinden
Awww… so sad! I like how you handled Princess Shimra’s change throughout the story, from angry and depressed, to more accepting and happy. And Queen Regine is just so… nice. Always putting other above herself, even though she’s so uncomfortable.
About the only thing that kind of seemed odd to me was how Shimra sometimes thought of her mother as ‘Queen Regine’ instead of ‘Mother’. It just seemed a little odd.
The ending was perfect.

Hyperion: The Beginningby micrody Awww, poor little Anthea! She’s lucky she’s got such a good brother. I have to confess, I do wish you’d worked something about the Defenders of Neopia earlier into the story… Coming out of the middle of nowhere like they did kind of seems like a deus ex machina -- even though they didn’t really do anything to save Anthea. Once you’ve introduced him though, I love the fact that Judge Hog’s first thought is “let’s skip out on the paperwork and eat!” *laughs*

Lesser Faerie by tashni
I confess I was confused at first how you got away with creating a new kind of Faerie. Until I read the story, and realized that you hadn’t really done that at all. *grin*
I am a little confused by what species the person who opened the bottle was. At first she’s described with “wings, a mane and blue fur” which I assumed was an Uni, but further down “a blue claw closed in on her”. So… what is it?
I really like the style you told this story in. In a lot of places, it almost reads more as a poem than a short story with the imagery and the phrasing. And the ending made me want to cry. *sniff*

Goodnight, Graphie by sweetie_me274
The picture scares me.
First of all, the eyes are creepy. Secondly, my husband is an insomniac, so I know what’s coming.
*dies*
I love the pea Chia, it’s such a warped version of the Princess and the Pea. I liked warped -- warped is good. ^^

Card Collections - The Fontaine Sisters by iwantyours and yatomiyuka
Ohh, the Fontaine sisters. They need more stories. *grin*
I need to remember that phrase… blanket of torridity. It just sounds… menacing, somehow.
It took me a second to catch onto the time shifts, but once I figured out what you were doing, I liked the current/flashback/current style.

A Tavern-full of Fun: An Interview with Dasher Soleyby rookina ….Oh dear…. *dies* What a perfect beginning and ending for an article. ;D I have to confess, I was afraid that I’d have a hard time with all the ‘pirate talk’, but you managed to juggle it well enough that I didn’t have a problem understanding it most of the time. Kudos to you. I adored this article, and I don’t even like Yooyu all that much.

You're right on the "claw" bit, that was a mistake on my part. I'm glad you appreciated the bittersweet ending.

The Defenders really have no role major in this story, aside from the bit at the end. See, I hope to return to Hyperion in later stories, where the Defenders will have a greater role in assigning him missions.
