If anyone wants an in-depth review for their story, PM me or just post here. I'll be doing some less extensive reviews later in the week anyway, though. In the meantime, if anyone is willing to review my collab with Amy (Card Collections: Fontaine Sisters) I would bake a whole tray of millipede cookies in their honour.

I would love a review for "Lesser Faerie!" I'll read your story tomorrow. I only had time to read "Goodnight, Graphie" earlier today. I saved my comments on "Graphie" on another computer, so I'll have to post it later.

Goodnight Graphie - Haha! The Princess and the Pea Chia! This was really good. The opening scene where Graphie is counting the seconds is excellent, I think we've all experienced that. An excellent, original story!

A Spooky Halloween, pt 1 by ghostkomorichuI don't think the joke's that bad, Komori It's a bit obvious maybe, but that doesn't mean it's not funny. How many parts has this series got? ^^ Thanks, I'm glad it's not too much of a groaner. It's just that I've always felt that the going-through-ghosts is the first joke that any ghost-owner can come up with. -_-;; And it's got 4 parts, with the last one ending in the Halloween issue, hopefully. :3 A Spooky Halloween, pt 1 by ghostkomorichuI love Spooky! This one was just as great as all the others, too. Once again, I just adore the green korbat. I might have asked this before, I can't remember, but what are their names? Well, anyways, this was really great! *runs to store and buys more Oreos* *gives Komori the whole box* ^_^ Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! My Korbat's named Komo, and the Draik is Claw. My other two charas aren't in this week, but my Uni's Echo and my Mynci is Tombstones.

I've started work on your reviews, Tashni and Writingwolf. It's going to take time, but I might get one done tonight. I hope it's okay.

I shall begin with my series reviews. Then...I guess I'll try to read a short story or two. But if I can't do it today...I likely won't be able to do any other reviews this week. EDIT: Yuka, I don't mind waiting. I am actually quite patient. ^_^ lol
Needed Adventure: Part Seven by tdyans This was another awesome part, Tdyans!
The way you introduced Jonas and Cambry seemed too much like the way you introduced Orla and Zinneus at first, I feel, but after the initial beginning of the dialogue, I could see how just different it really was. I also have to say that Jonas' dialogue was awesomely executed.
I also think I have an idea what might happen in the next chapter, though I am a bit worried of the ending - though it was a perfect ending, really!
I simply cannot help but think, if Enzo can't keep himself out of cages long enough, he might never get that adventure that he's been longing for.
Beauty of the Snow: Part Four by extreme_fj0rd Another interesting part. The work is well-written and enjoyable, but for me, it seems to lack that...part of writing that makes a piece shine. Not to say, of course, that I haven't been enjoying this, as I have been. It just seems that some things ignite a fiery passion within me to read without care, but this lacked that. The ending also came a little suddenly - I honestly had not realized it was over until I read the words "to be continued..." I Guess I was longing for something happen, expecting it even, but that something never came. I was also a bit confused as to why Inga grabbed the book from Lia and put it away... to me, that seemed unnecessary.
Once more, though, I am looking forward to the next part, for both of these series.

My first short story review! To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm interested in reading any of the others, so this might be my only one this week... though, Goodnight, Graphie and Cry for a Queen do seem intriguing... I shall see what I have time to do, but for now, my one short story review.
Lesser Faerie by Tashni Well, Tashni, I've read your comics, but this is the first thing of yours that I'm actually reading. And I have to say, it was pretty good!
I found myself confused at a few points, probably because you used the word "she" to refer to other Faeries as none of them had names, and I just lost track of which Faerie was in question. And the Air Faerie was captured so suddenly, I was lost until I went back and reread it.
I was a bit disappointed by the ending, too. I loved the way you made the Faeries...die, but then they all became grey, whereas none of them seem manically depressed or sad in the least... I know you can't create new Faeries in the Times, but seeing them become Grey Faeries was disappointing.
Well, overall, I think I really enjoyed this. Really nice job.

I actually have some time to finish off my reviews, so here goes. Goodnight, Graphie by sweetie_me274This was an awesomely cute and easy to read story that I really enjoyed! Great job, really! I particularly liked the doctor telling Graphie to never come back... and then the medicine, oddly enough, brought to mind the polyjuice potion scene from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The pea Chia was a cute ending, too, even though I knew what to expect from reading other reviews...still, though, it was hilarious! My one complaint: Physiological problems don't go on deep in the mind...those are psychological. Cry for a Queen by laurelinden and precious_katuch14The beauty of a deep, meaningful story is an amazing and powerful thing, a thing made only more powerful by seeing the contrast between lightheartedness and heavyheartedness, as I have seen by reading these two stories together, both of which I thoroughly, wholly enjoyed. This story, I had expected, would be slow and predictable, and though I was able to discern what to expect, it was not slow at all as I had thought it might be. I thoroughly enjoyed this - the depth to Shimra and her mother were beautiful, and I have always been fond of Meridell, so it all fit nicely for me. I know someone before me said they could not understand how Regine knew what Shimra was feeling, yet that doesn't need a deep explanation to understand, I feel. Simply said, Regine knew because she was a mother, and a mother as Shimra described her surely would know. I did see one thing, though, that caught me off guard in such a wonderfully-written story. You said, "she'd fallen sick," yet, from what I have learned, it would have been more proper to say, "she'd fallen ill." Aside from that bit of wording, which I feel contrasted the tone of this work more than the grammatical aspect of it, I really, truly enjoyed this story. * * * I don't expect to be doing any more reviews for this week, as the pieces left unread really don't ignite my interest and I have so much to catch up upon already, so I hope everyone will understand that. I would, however, still appreciate reviews for "Hyperion: The Beginning."

I really appreciate it. If you have the time, would you mind giving me specific passages as to where you were confused? I tend to confuse people, so I'm working on that. ^_^ I know the end wasn't what you might call happy or even all that fulfilling, but I wanted to leave the reader with a sense of emptiness like the faeries have. That was my intention, anyway.

Some quick comic reviews before bedtime.
The Misadventures of a Pink Lenny by immortalmina and tamia_silverwing - I remember reading this script on the collab boards a while ago! VERY nice artwork, congrats there! For some reason I just find the phrase "Whack 'em" really funny. The only thing I would change is to make the final "whacking action" scene more exaggerated.
Floored Rorru! by autoc007 and m3rcuri - That's so cute! My facial expression was totally like the Aisha's in the final panel. This was well executed, because for those first free panels I was like "Whaaaa?" But then in the final panel I got it, and it was good.
A Spooky Halloween, pt 1 by ghostkomorichu - Pfft. "Weak joke?" Komori, are you TRYING to make us look bad? Really, even IF this isn't one of your funniest comics, the quality of Spooky is consistent. The joke is different from other similar comics in that it's Count Von Roo, and he really should know better. (I want to know what this series is about, anyway. I might be bad and look it up before the next issue comes out.)

TO HUNTRESS: Y'know, for a long time I've had this feeling that your artwork in Shad & Saura reminds me of something, but I haven't been able to pinpoint it. Then I re-read your comic in 259, and I figured it out! Your artwork looks a LOT like old-style neopets artwork. Remember, the old 2D artwork all over the site? Yeah. Just thought I'd let you know. I miss that old artwork, so maybe that's one reason I love your comic so much.

Lesser Faerie by tashni This was a good read, Tashni. I feel sorry for the faeries. As Writingwolf mentioned, the ending wasn't very fulfilling but it works for me. I sometimes like my endings hanging, like that. But it was interesting how you made the grey faeries live together, coming in by their own means throught the elements. Overall the content was great.
There are some parts when you tend to overuse words, like "eyes", when the faerie opens her eyes after being pulled from the dark cupboard. Maybe I'm being nitpicky.
But I'd love to see more from you, Tashni. You write well.

Thanks for reviews of "To Cry for a Queen." It's been my first collab in a while, and my first entry in months, since I've been so busy with other stuff. I appreciate it!
