So we're only reviewing things by members...why didn't I think of that before?!
Comics
Mootix Itch - Very nicely done! Great artwork!
A Spooky Halloween, pt 3 - ROFL! I love this! The expressions in the last panel are priceless!
A Break in Memory: Part One - I loved this! The part seemed long at first, but then the flow just whizzed it all along! Can't wait to see where this goes and, if it's anything like the previous Desoni stories, I know it won't disappoint! One to watch (or read), definitelty!

Comics!!!! and a fifth for good measure !
Mootix Itch by autoc007 I've read this before, but it still pulled a laugh out of me tonight! Good job - the art is really well-done, and the joke is funny, too.
A Spooky Halloween, pt 3 by ghostkomorichu HaHaHaHa and a fifth for good measure Ha! LOL. This was great, Komori! The joke was hilarious, and their expressions were all perfect! The more I look at this, the more wonderful it becomes! You're awesome.

A single article...that intrigues me...
Werelupe Encyclopedia by dark_goddess_rising I like Werelupes. They're cool. So, this article grabbed my attention before I even started reading it. However, I feel the first paragraph was a bit...rough. I feel it didn't really introduce the article as well as it could have.
The rest of the article, however, was quite enjoyable to read. I liked how you defined "were," as the actual definition really doesn't fit well with the whole concept of Neopets. I also liked your flavorful comments about the Sword of Apocalypse - they made me smile, not quite laugh out loud, but I definitely smiled at them.
Overall, this was well-written and had nice flow. Good job.

Likely my last review for the night... (will do Needed Adventure tomorrow). The Pant Devil's Desire by scheffleraThis has only one logical response...: WHAT?!? That is precisely what I think, at least. HOWEVER! That is not to say that I did not enjoy it! Quite the contrary, actually. The beginning was terribly confusing, partly, probably mostly, my fault because, though I read Excitement, I read Pant Devil and thought Misfortune (I blame it being midnight, and that I was eating ice cream cake)...so, the whole pink-cloud thing also confused me...until I realised what was going on, at least. Then, I found this to move quite quickly, very quickly. It never became hard to follow, though, and I applaud that. It was quite...for lack of a better word...chaotic. But such insane chaos was actually quite entertaining. Not to mention, that amid all of this chaos and seemingly insane randomness, it was well-written, had good flow, and had a solid plot - something that I've rarely seen in most comical things that I have read lately. So, really good job with that! The ending was also confusing, and it ended quite quickly, but from what was there, I think I can piece together something that at least makes some sense...which would be more than most of this story, so maybe I shouldn't try so hard. ^_^ lol. Anyways, it was still great no matter. that was... er, too much... information... Well, that was stereotypical...but funny! And, you did make up for it a paragraph later. Again, this was awesome and I really loved reading it! I do, however, feel slightly intrigued to know the contents of said inspirational conversation...

Werelupe Encyclopedia by dark_goddess_rising
The bit about figuring out the Werelupe by knowledge of the alphabet made me smile. And for some reason the idea of the Werelupe's bite being equivalent to a morphing potion amuses me. (Does it work on Kyriis, or do they become a Halloween Kyrii instead? It looks kind of similar.) So did the bit about tourists wreaking havoc in the Haunted Woods -- I'm picturing some mixture of the dimwit vandals on Halloween, freaked-out people running away and knocking things over in the process, and Adventurers.
...And then of course there's our current plot-related grave vandalism. Oh dear.

Writingwolf -- thanks! This has only one logical response...: WHAT?!? Well, I didn't think of that one, but I suppose it does make sense. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I imagine thinking the action was taking place around the Wheel of Misfortune would make the pink Dire Cloud seem rather out of place. I confess, I had forgotten about the Pant Devil being a "prize" at the Wheel of Misfortune, but I think I would have put it in Faerieland anyway. Funnier that way. I appreciate the comment about it being humor with a plot. I wasn't entirely sure how either one would come across, since I think my attempts at humor have kind of thrown NT readers off sometimes. (Maybe it's a good thing I don't try to do comics!) I'm a little uncertain about your opinion on the level of clarity. You say it never became hard to follow, but the end was confusing? May I ask what was confusing about the end, in hopes of not doing it again? The basic idea, in case this helps with explaining where I didn't get it across, was that the girl had a Pant Devil Attractor from the fishing game in her inventory, and, well, the Pant Devil was... Attracted. ...But he doesn't seem to have anything on... *chuckles* It was largely setup for the next paragraph, actually. It seemed like a good thing to have the Pant Devil say when he was in a grumpy mood, and get smacked down for. Plus it gave me the opportunity for the "take out their stats and compare them" line. Heh. It involved the idea of the Pant Devil falling in love (or infatuation) with some human girl and following her around stealing her stuff to try to get her to notice him. Possibly giving some of it back via other random events too. Nimras mentioned that you probably couldn't get that into the Times, and that sparked the idea that, well, not in those terms you couldn't, but.... Um. So. I was actually surprised that a couple of lines didn't get edited for implications, but then I did tone one of them down myself.

The Pant Devil's Desire It was a strange story, that's for sure. But I did enjoy it. The Grundo Leader was characterized wonderfully. What a misfit. XDD There were a few sentences where the structure made it confusing to tell what was going on, such as: And: I had to read these over a few times, but I eventually comprehended it. XD The story's a strange one to be honest, but I think I liked it because of that. It's a quirky story, and we need more of those. ^^ I didn't really understand what was going on with the Purple Paint Brush part, and the ending did come along rather fast, but it was a good story. Try more humor. It suits you.

Mootix Itch by autoc007 I remember when you were asking about this in Work Reviews. It's funny, and the art's nice, but I still think it'd be better without the play by play. Spooky by Komori What needs saying? Amazing as always. Though one comment: don't you think the soup'd pass through the Ghost?

A Spooky Halloween, pt. 3 by ghostkomorichu I always enjoy your comics. The artwork is neat and they're funny. I should reply more often. *sheepish* And I never would have guessed that von Roo liked tomato soup!

A Break in Memory, pt. 1 by appaloosa500 I am one of the people who hasn't read your previous stories, so I appreciate the summary/author's note. Actually, I usually think I do relatively well at jumping into things in the middle and figuring out what's going on, but it looks like this might be a case where having read the note will be important! Also, even though its whole point is to be an infodump, it's a well-written and entertaining one. I like your description of your own character -- it's interesting to see different people's ideas of the role of humans in Neopia, and it looks as if yours is a variation that's in line with my own preferences, too. I like that you seem to have a mix of independent and human-associated Neopets, and I like the bit about teaching in a Neoschool and volunteering with the PPL. And the witness -- er, sorry, Faerie Protection Program -- was a fun touch. I might have to go back and check out your other stories sometime. *melts* This was so sweet... of course it's obvious from the title and ominous catch-up summary that things are about to go wrong, but still, it's a lovely moment. *squeaks, slightly further on* Three days now? Oh, not good. ...And it isn't, though I suppose it could be worse. It's a good thing his parents were present, wasn't it.... ...Hee! Very clever idea for the potion. I'm intrigued. You've got a very promising plot (which I gather is part of an extended series), you've invented good characters, and it's all very nicely written. Good work!

Dan, thank you for the review too. I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, I guess the assorted Random Event Thief characters would be misfits.... Sorry that some parts were confusing. Especially about Glitch the Red (DFM) Pteri, as I rather liked that joke. Heh, thank you. Although I'm not really sure if it does.
