I know this isn't mine, but-- No Game Here: Extreme Rider by hello5346; art by 13blackdragons (I recognised the usernames and art style at once. How? 13blackdragons is a friend of mine.)

[shadow=purple,left,300]Well, even though Kat-swamped-with-homework-and-college-entrance-exams doesn't update the list in time, we can start the reviews anyway. XD Unfortunately I might not be able to do much, since I'm rather busy and only have enough time to post the reviews thread...but I'll try.[/shadow]

Reviews time! Dan and Kat - A Different Kind Of Game I really enjoyed this because it offers a small view of many different characters. Some of them seem to have some idea as to what's going on, but none of them really know they're being manipulated... it's kind of creepy, really. Also, it's weird that it was inspired by a trading card - me and Amy are collaborating on a series of short stories featuring trading cards at the moment. In fact, the first one is in this issue. x3 Great work! No Game Here: Extreme Rider by hello5346; art by 13blackdragons I normally don't read comics, but I liked this one for being simple yet effective. I love the art style, too. You both did a wonderful job. Cutie Cucumber - The Great Bicycle Race What an uplifting story. I really felt for poor Casey at the start. I kind of knew what would happen, but it somehow avoided being too cliche, and Casey deserved to win the race for being so determined. Excellent! More to come later! ;D

I didnt understand this joke.what's happening It's from the game Extreme herder where you (a kacheek) save petpets from Bathlazar. I thought since the kacheek is mostly carrying the pepets, for once, the kacheek can have a break and have a petpet carry him.

[shadow=purple,left,300]Yuka - thanks so much for the review! ^_^ Card Collections: Guardian of Fire Magic by yatomiyuka and iwantyours"Lead" here should probably be "led", and you can just say "a purple door" instead of going through all that trouble to describe a door. Just a helpful pointer. "Breathe" is a verb, but if it would be used as a noun, strike out the "e". I'm sorry if I'm such a nitpicker, but I really liked your story! It was very nice, even though the thief-becoming-hero thing has been quite overdone, you added your own touches so that it would stand out. I look forward to more stories about the other Guardians (*cough*SPECTRALMAGIC*cough*). Raeka by literalluauI liked how you started the story, because it really set the pace for the overall mood of the plot. The best thing about Zoe's character is that anyone can identify with her, and if not her, probably with Raeka or Alexa. Even though the story in itself was rather simple, it was still able to convey a lot and deliver an underlying message. All in all, a very relaxing read. No Game Here: Extreme Herder by hello5346 and 13blackdragonsI instantly got the joke. Concise, but nonetheless funny. XD I like the artwork...the shading strikes me the most.[/shadow]

The Pianist's Quandary by Writingwolf It seems to me that sweeping dust would only kick it up more. XD Just a nitpick. Once again, I really liked you hinting that Faerieland isn't as good as it sounds, when you had Ellamara ask "There are so many wondrous places in Neopia; what made you choose to move to Faerieland?" Dunno why, I just really find the idea of that nice. When Nevan asks what Faerieland was like earlier, she compares it to now but honestly I don't see how she could, if she doesn't leave the house. Just something to consider, I guess. I thought the ending was very nice, and your descriptions are beautiful as always. It ended a bit quickly, I have to say, but all in all it was a very nice story. Great job!
