I really like how you did the descriptions here; it’s very easy to sympathize with Jerad because we always know exactly where he is at – both physically and mentally. The ending was wicked, leaving off so you don’t know for sure if his sister follows down after him or not.

Very cute concept… It gets the “Jaws” theme going in the back of my head. I like the art too, very clean and everything’s recognizable. The evil eyebrow thing in the Meepit is perfect… Closer indeed. ^^

One Hot Afternoonby vulpisarcanis *grin* The picture was perfect for setting the tone of this story. Keena rocks, I think she’s my favorite character in the story. I have to admit I had a little trouble keeping her and Penny separate at the very beginning of this story but as it progressed they were very easy to tell apart. And poor Degam… destined to be drug along on every misadventure.  I like how the figured out how to barter their way home… poor Keena. Did she end up with anything to show for their (mis)adventure?

Of Truffles and Such
A very well-written story, which I enjoyed reading.You had me all the time wondering what would happen next, so it was very interesting. I knew the Kiko shouldn't be trusted, but I didn't know what would happen. I made a couple of guesses, but I was wrong, so you succeeded in making your story unexpected and original. I feel like eating truffles now. XD Overall, I liked it, even though it had a sad ending that made me feel sorry for Jerad and his family.

The Face Behind the Dancer
This was a nice, interesting read. It was longer than I thought it would be, but that's fine. There were a few typos, but I enjoyed reading. Also, if I may offer constructive critcism, some word choices in some sentences amde them sound repetitive. For example:
"You will know the whole story, when you know more."
It'd sound smoother with a different verb, in my opinion. Like "You will understand the whole story when you know more."
The story was fast-paced, and that was good because you had a lot of things to tell. For the most part, it flowed rather smoothly. Overall, I liked it.

The Cudgel KarmaArt: Cute art! You have a nice style. I like it. ^_^ I like all the detail you puy in the firt panel. The penultimateone is really nice too. Shiny! ^^ XD Great job with the Yurble's beaten pose. Good expressions. Joke: I liked it. I didn't find t too funny, but it was nice nevertheless. ^_^ I had a but of trouble reading the third panel, though... I read it in disorder the first time ^^;; Overall, good job! ^_^ ... Meepit War TacticsArt: I love the art, it's awesome ^_^ I like the different texture on the floor, all the details, and... everything. Great job! Joke: XD I found it hilarious and very clever. That's one creepy Meepit chair! Great job, both of you! I loved this comic. ^_^ Share Your Toys...Art: Great art! I really like it. And it's hand-drawn too! ^_^ Great job on the expressions and the coloring. Drawing a shoyru meatball on the firt panel with just the title was a really nice touch. XD Joke: Nice punchline, the last panel made me laugh. XD Overall, awesome comic.

My Vacation: Part Oneby jeanaet Not an NTWF'ers story, but I enjoyed it enough to post a review of it in hopes of enticing other people to read it. *pokes* Aile and her owner Jeanie’s arguments, banters, and just plain interaction is great. Alie’s a very opinionated little Xweetok, and she’s going to let you know what she thinks about everything. It looks like this series is going to be 7 parts, with each on in a different world as Jeanie drags Alie out on a vacation against her will. I can’t wait to see what she thinks of Terror Mountain.

CCR Parts 4 &5 by Nimras - I think I have said every glowing thing I can about this series, but I still love it. The characters are amazing, and you keep on adding new threads to the tapestry of your plot.
Just because it's about time I gave you some concrit, I'd like to comment on this:
I don't like the idea of a Lupe hissing. He should growl or something, but not hiss. Cats hiss.

What I was trying to imply wasn't like... a Hissi hiss, more of that sound one makes when you exhale though your teeth or tightened lips; like the "whoo, that must have hurt" sound you make when you see some kid on a skateboard bite the dust. Anyone know a better name/sound/thing for it? *Bambi eyes* |

I wrote a series, but it's too much trouble fixing its problems..so I'm thinking about just writing another. However, I'm having serious problems thinking of a plot of any kind. x.o Any tips?

Thank you for the reviews, ethan, Nimras, Ginz! I'm glad you all liked it and I really appreciate the comments. That comic was a strange idea I thought up while driving in traffic. LOL! (Probably wanted to send some attack meepits to a few cars ) Thank goodness Cyth is such an amazing artist she captured it wonderfully Doesn't seem to be many comics to be reviewed in this issue... The Cudgel Karma - LOL! Very original concept and the art is really cute. I like Adam's (I think that is Adam) face in the second panel. Good job! Other comics I found amusing: Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars - heehee This one got a chuckle out of me. Gotta love those meepits Flapdoodle - Just gotta love the artwork. And I still love that Mutant Hissi MiaFaery - I had to look up the Mutant Warf for myself and boy, they do look like something is wrong with them. ROFL! A Comic Without a Name - Love the comic title and the joke was funny, too Only in Neopia - LOL! Okay, maybe I'm easily amused... |
