To Fly With Faerie Wings by laurelinden
To be honest, when I first read the title, I kind of groaned at the thought of yet another “I want to be painted Faerie, oh woe is ugly me” story. Once I got fast the first paragraph though, it was obvious this wasn’t that kind of story. *grin* I really like Shruti, she’s just a normal girl who wants to do well in her race. I only have one question, did her anklet break? ‘Cause it ends with “color of the dust was all shades of purple at her feet.” Which of course, is the same color as the beads…

The Faerie Who Rebelledby star_29791 “As if bottled faeries aren't manufactured in some secret lab somewhere.” now that’s a mental picture I wasn’t expecting. I have to admit, I love the idea of a very grumpy Faerie being set loose who really didn’t want to give her blessing. The first thing that came to mind with me for the “half of an O” was the letter C… the OK thing actually kind of threw me off, but it all worked out in the end. And the ending was brilliant. “I feel guilty for setting her loose upon the world, upon those unsuspecting innocent faeries, just so I could have improved intelligence. A waste, really. My intelligence was already as high as it could go.”

The Invisibility Game by undeadfortune
The invisible people can see you… they’re watching… Creepy. Really, this story was creepy, I like it. *grin* I have a question, since you only had them throw away the work, and not destroy it, are you planning on making a sequel where someone finds his notes?

I would murder her. Slowly, with my cheese grater. Egads, now we know why her sister took over the government. Since I utterly despise Vyssa, I’d say you did a good job with character development on her. *grin* I love how Wessle and Barca handle everything with her.

The Treasureby dan4884 “ "How… how did you get… out of me?" Remnok stammered.” Oh! I know! I saw Aliens! …sorry, couldn’t help it… Though I am a little confused why an Aisha would have a Ruki for a soul. One of the great mysteries of life I suppose. The ending was both sad and sweet though… even though the Ruki either went back into him or escaped for good. On the other hand, given the Aliens reference, the Ruki soul would kind of work assall.de/movie-prop/aliens/a2_22.jpg...Dan is so going to kill me when he reads this review. You know I'd only do this if I really liked the story, right Dan?

The Cello by shadowcristal
Awww, poor Cynthia. I am a little confused by how long she stopped playing at the end of the story. It seems like for only a few days – but one wouldn’t loose that much ability in a couple days or even weeks of time. (I know that from personal experience *grin* ) Ylanda reminds me a lot of some of the parents around here and their kids in sports. I really like ho Cynthia stood up to her, and started playing for the right reasons in the end.

Thanks for the review, as it was exactly what I wanted. Not having to ask, and having someone review it because they wanted to read. As for your question, the story won't be continued because of the twist in the last paragraph.

Ah, the good olde anime-style vein on the forehead? People use it all the time to show that the character is annoyed or angry. One shouldn't really use them too much though. Three words: Fyora special issue :3 Always twice as big as the regular issues. THANKIES!!! I'm still new to the NT, and very muchly appreciate the education. *hugs* Ame...

I thought the other half was H, as in Oh, how wrong was I...

I thought the other half would be C, too. But the "other" kept me guessing.

Oh, Joy, I'm Unhappyby nut862 Oh boy, don’t I know about fickle pets and their emotional swings. Azure and Jo are pretty reliable, generally cheerful unless something legitimately bad has happened. Koko and Fire on the other hand… *sigh* “If you can keep from snatching all those sweet plushies up for yourself, your pet will be more than happy to engage in a game of tea party with Miss Pink Poogle Toy and Sir Plushie Jeran with you.” Hehehe, this brings to mind one of my favorite TCG cards… Someday I WILL find this on Ebay and buy it. I really like how you listed ways to make your pet happy again that really work… not like the “take them on vacation to Faerieland!” ones that are fun for role-playing, but not much use for cheering up the pets that are staring at you with dull depression though your monitor.

Popular Pet Frenzy by mygoodguild
I agree that it would be nice to see more NT stories with other species as the main characters than the usuals. Stop looking at me like that, just because I have three Lupe main characters that I write about the most doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy reading about Techos, Grundos, ect. (I actually write about the Lupes the most simply because it’s easier for me to think ‘like a Lupe’ than the other species. Blame it on me being raised by a golden retriever.) I do wish there were more reasons on why you should adopt the other species than ‘because there aren’t enough of them’.
Being one of those heretics that hold that different species have different strengths (Aishas, superb hearing; Lupes, awesome sense of smell; Wockies, way better than average night vision….) I would have liked to see reasons why these species were so special other than “we’re all the same on the inside and the outside shouldn’t count) Maybe something like, “Ruki’s are exceptionally strong, able to lift many times their own weight. And a Yurbles sense of direction is infallible, able to sense the magnetic pull of north all the time…” If that makes any sense?
I really, really like how you encouraged people creating pet to do their research first to find the perfect species for them before they crated a pet to help limit the amount of pets going to the pound.

Fyora Does the Editorial! by ladyariel32
See Belle, I told you I’d get to it. *grin*
I love the feisty personality you gave her here. It cracks me up, especially just how much of a sarcastic streak you gave her.
“Since it’s Fyora Day (I mean, really, just a day? Puh-lease. Why couldn’t you have made it a week, a month, a year, forever? After all I’ve done for you... heh, just joking. No, really!),”
*snirk*
“Hi. It’s me again. My brother says you’re really Sloth in disguise? Is that true? – BugtheSkeith’s brother”
No, everyone knows that Fyora is Michel Jack- *brick’d*
I really like how you got the general feel of the editorial right, it looks a lot like the real one that we see every week. *grin* Though this is giving me ideas of Snarkie vs Fyora editorial battle…
