The Many Uses of Plot – Altador by dark_goddess_rising
I usually avoid the neoboards like the plague, so I have to confess that I've never been to the Altador Plot board. It's nice to have an overview of a board that doesn't make it sound like the deepest deaths of the brain bleach inducing... something.
A Day in the Life of a Health Nut by lassie_nikki
One thing in this story kind of confused me. In the beginning of the story there is “Thus, Aliya had never experienced the delicious thing called chocolate.” Yet later it says, “She realized that the only thing she felt after eating chocolate was bloated and lazy.” When did she eat the chocolate? Other than that, it's a very cute story. I like how she gradually grew to respect her uncle and his lifestyle throughout the story. I also really like how the class is described in the beginning of the story... sounds about how I remember JR High.

My pets would so die if they tried anything like that; a very slow death by cheese grater. I do wish this story was a little longer (big surprise, coming from me... I know ) with a bit more conflict. The owner seems to go from a “I hate my life and my pets” to “everything is and always has been perfect” a little too quickly, in my opinion. All the characters have such developed and expressed personalities and I would have really liked to have seen more conflict/resolution with them after their week in the Neolodge. It may just be me though. ... I would have SO throttled Jay.
Notions and Nonsense by patjade art by Pert0neo
Very cute play on words in this comic. Simple, yet I know it's going to pop into my head the next time I'm at a fast food restaurant. I like the change of expression on the Quiggle's face, from dejection in the first panel to
in the second. I'm not sure if the change is startlement or delight tough. *grin*
The Pet Patrol Revolution - Expressions by Neotomi
I think I've seen my sisters do that same thing... only with two eyes and its my sister rolling her eyes up until they're all white. I really like the faces in this comic, they get the expression across very well. I would have liked more detail in the background – but that could easily be just me. *grin*
And the Meepits Outgrabe by Kittylin
I love the door. It's so pretty... *cough* Right... the rest of the comic. I like the Grarrls face in the first panel, it' s like he's staring at the pillow just waiting for his chance to pounce. Oliver's face is good too, he's just got that expression that he's just used to odd requests like “Don't eat the pillows.” About the only thing I think could use some improvement in this comic is the color of the chair. It's the same color and the background, and it took me a second to realize what it was exactly.
Slorg Randomness by Tashni and Kirby
the quick way to a mutant Slorg. I'm having a little trouble with the Slorg's expression, is he happy about this? Worried? Profoundly disturbed? ( I know I would be) Other than that though, it's a really cute idea, and I like the colors you used to make the salt and the Slorg stand out.
Cooking Secrets by Huntress
Ewwwww.... I like all the detail in this comic. It's a little hard to tell who is saying “Maybe it's cross eyed” in the second panel, but that may be because of my laptops wonky monitor. Shad's expressions are hilarious.
Land of Pacman by pacmanite
Hee! I love how all the pets cowering under the brush are food flavored! With the base colored Hissi, completely oblivious... though I would have liked a background behind the Swamp Ghoul, the detail on the pets is really nice. Especially that little cookie Chomby.
Clash of the Pink Bobble-Heads by gliderames and xpropugnator
All the pinkness... *grin* I love Boochi's expression in the second panel. “Oh noes!” How convenient for the Draik to have the TYS mallet in his hand right at that moment.
Return of the Double Agent: Part Six by Kat and Sia
Aww, Morguss and the Court Dancer have such a loving mother/daughter relationship. I do have a question though, I thought when Lisha broke the Court Dancer's spell, she reverted back into a Darigan Aisha? The idea of Morguss as a budding seamstress is funny though.
As is Vex's horrible Shapeshifter skills.
The Five Sacred Stones of Geraptiku: Part Three by Dan
I actually really like how the council members are so divided on what to do. (There are far to many -ally words in that sentence.) I also like how both sides have a logical reason for siding the way they have. I do wish, though, that we got to see more on Jake's thought process as to why he decided to volunteer the way he did. So far it's shaping up to be pretty interesting next chapter. *grin*
