[glow=blue,2,300] The Cost of Being Grey[/glow] Haha, the joke here is cute. And so true… oi, Grey PBs are shockingly expensive! The Paint art is quite good; all of the Grey pets are nicely done, though I particularly like the Grey Chomby. ^^ It’s a cute idea, having one half of the panel in almost a monochrome color scheme and the other in a normal one. The little changes in the pets’ expressions help push the joke forward, and make the copy-and-paste less intrusive. I think you did the expressions nicely, although the tearful Cybunny in the last panel bothers me a bit; the tears there don’t really seem to fit on the face. The Cybunny almost looks more bored than sad, with the tears painted on top of its cheeks. Redrawing the Cybunny’s face there would likely have eliminated this problem. On a whole, though, you manage the minor expression changes quite well. ^^ I have a nitpicky little problem with the dialogue here. The comic seems to indicate that in the first panel the Kougra is using the word “grey” to mean “sad”. However, the reader tends to assume that he means “grey” literally, because of the creative way you colored the panels, and thus the Kougra’s “but” in the second panel doesn’t make sense. I think this would’ve been clearer if the Kougra said something like “Why are you all so sad?” in the first panel. On a whole, though, this is a very cute comic. ^^

Thank you for the in-depth review, Nut! Wow, I never thought about that part of my dialogue. I used "grey" in the first panel to mean everything in the sense of the word was grey, literally grey and unhappily grey. *uses arms in sweeping gesture* Why is everything so ... grey over there? That is why I made the contrast of the grey side and the colorful/cheerful side. And then based on the cybunny's answer is the kougra's response. That was just my thoughts when I wrote it I really appreciate the review! Gives me something to think about

Seriously, if someone gives a review for The Shoyru Tamer, I will love them forever.
*should probably do some reviews of her own*

Tashni, you rawk ^^ Thanks for the review. I wasn't in Neo back during those Ski Lodge Mystery days so I don't know much about it though I gotta admit that the original idea started rolling from there... And it was indeed tricky to pull the mystery off as Droplet didn't really like the idea of murders *points to NT Staff Call* I kinda floated on the edge there. I can understand that the mystery started a bit far but I didn't want my characters to start falling left and right just when the story begins. Felt too unreal... (that, and I'm a hopeless blabber >.>) The funny thing is, that "Shad and Saura" part I put in the title out of curiosity really worked out I got ten something fanmails on the first day it came out. My previous series got about five altogether... Writing celeb stories is cool =3 Ooh, and I hope you get better soon ^^ Fevers are sometimes kinda unpredictable. Hm, would someone please make that list again? I'd do it myself but then it'd be lost on the second or third page.

Seriously, if someone gives a review for The Shoyru Tamer, I will love them forever. *should probably do some reviews of her own* I would, but it would require my reading the entire series, and I absolute abhor reading things in the middle of a series. Books, anything. Right now I don't have time, but once my exams have finished at the end of this month, I will read it through and give you a thorough review I managed to catch Kat and Sia's Return of the Agent when it started, so I will finish reading the entire series before presenting my thoughts on it.

I think "ICED" deserves my comic award of the week. I think the Chombie is just... PRICELESS <3 [editedit] 'k. Flapdoodle is STILL my #1 favorite comic. Which is why I won't give it my comic award of the week every week. Uh huh. *nods*

I don't get it either, Psycho. Dare I neomail the author and ask? I have a feeling that you're going to be reprimanded for not reading the title... And I also don't want you to bring back a reply that makes me feel like a complete idiot for not getting the joke xDDD Haha, if I had the guts to neomail the author I would

I didn't get that comic either. My best guess was that the characters had been bumping up pages like crazy, and since NeoCharge charged NP for 'most every page load, they got into a huge debt and ended up washing dishes to work it off. That was my guess. Edit: More reviews coming by tomorrow! Really! I promise!

Not related to reviews or anything, but I think from now on I'm going to submit my own custom pics. I was really kinda disappointed with the pic they chose for this story. The setting for most of the story is dark and spooky, and what do they do but show a bright sky with sun beaming down on lit buildings? -_- Eh. I knew when I submitted it that I couldn't bank on getting the kind of pic I wanted, but I figured I'd try. This settles it, though. More work for me, less surprise and custom pic joy, but eh. If I could draw/colour Neopets, I guess I'd attempt making my own custom pics, too, but since I only draw Aishas... I've read a lot of the stuff this week so I promise to come up with some reviews in a while.

Bah, I get it. XD You see, usually at resturaunts, if you can't pay the bill, you have to work there/wash your dishes. So the Ruki and girl couldn't pay the NeoCharge so now they're washing dishes because they can't pay it off. Also, NeoCharge was an April Fool's Joke, so the other way could be she didn't pay the NeoCharge because she thought it was a joke! Get it now?
