Comic reviews! Starry Stuff- Yikes, poor Nekomi. XD Cute art, I like the expressions. But 'did I had to ask her' should be 'did I have to ask her' just to let you know.^^ thanks for your review and your correction hehe, I'm trying to improve my English ;D Anyone, please? review for my Comic, and, if it's possible, last issue's one? I was on vacation when it got published Both comics made me laugh. Your brand of humour really works. ^_^ The drawing is very good, a ton better than what I can do with colour pencils. For week 219, I noticed that you erased a bit of the background around the speech bubbles. The erasing in the last panel nearly caught a bit of the petpet's speeding motion thingy. To prevent this, you may wish to draw in the speech bubbles before scanning, or put view > zoom > 400% in Paint to aid the erasing process. Alternatively, if you have winxp, there is a program called Microsoft PhotoDraw that has speech/thought bubbles you can insert automatically. But this is just one small point (because I always tend to notice such stuff). I don't think that most readers will mind the erased background though. Looking forward to more of your comics.

Buddy, Nut, thank you for the reviews! It's funny cause I never really look at my writing any further than "yeah, that came out in a way I wouldn't mind people reading" so to have some in-depth commentary like that is really interesting. It's kinda like, 'oooh yeeeeeah! I -did- write in that style, didn't I?' Heh. Thanks again you guys.

Comic Reviews[glow=blue,2,300] Half Off Day[/glow] The art in this comic was very nice, smoothly drawn and softly shaded. I like how the glass is smudged and steamed. Such a detail would most likely be ignored by a less careful artist, who would probably just draw reflective lines on the glass or leave it as it was. The cakes and display case are drawn nicely. The joke would be an excellent one-panel groaner, and still is, but I feel that the way it was executed was a bit confusing. I didn’t mind seeing the caption at the bottom, because without it I think I would have been slower to get the joke, but the caption wouldn’t have been necessary at all if the visual aspect of the comic had shown several cakes cut in half. The tall cakes in the picture are more like five-sixths of a cake, and the slices one-sixth. This throws the joke off a bit, since the reader is expected to think of the cakes as halves even though it’s clear that they aren’t. Overall, this comic has some very nice art that unfortunately didn’t bring out the joke as much as it should have. The joke was funny in itself, though. This one-panel comic is great for a quick laugh. [glow=blue,2,300] Starry Stuff[/glow] XD Wow, I liked this comic. I thought it was very funny, and the colored pencil art is terrific. I like the way you humanize the Neopets; they look quite natural with their clothes and opposable thumbs. The two panels per row format creates a nice sense of evenness and regularity here. Panel One: You managed to put a brief gag in the very first panel of the comic. Stitching himself, indeed! It was a rather funny introduction to the comic. I like the Shoyru’s expression. XD Panel Two: I like how you blended the Shoyru teacher’s rainbow colors together smoothly, instead of making them stark stripes (like I would…). Just so you know, though, “What did you brought today?” should be “What did you bring today?” or “What have you brought today?”. The board on the wall is a nice way to announce to the reader that it’s show and tell without having to stick it in the dialogue. Panels Three and Four: Kenshin has very nice expressions here. I admire how you can make the normally glaringly bright stars melt into his blue fur so unobtrusively. Panel Five: I like how the two pets are sitting at their desks casually, and the little objects on the Plushie Bruce’s desk are a nice detail. I thought that Kenshin’s downturned mouth made him look a bit too unhappy for what he was saying, but this is so slight that it doesn’t really matter. There is a small grammar error here in that “convinced” should be “convince”. Just pointing it out. Panel Six: XD What a funny punchline! I really like the art in this panel. Nekomi’s expression is simply great, and having her shaking and sweating only adds to the effect. Her right leg (our right) looks a bit short to me, but it hardly matters with that terrific expression on her face. ^^ Overall: This comic has very nice colored pencil art, and a really funny joke. Great work!
