Guys, there's a really easy way to test if Rider is a zombie. One is we hold her down and see if she has a pulse. However, since I don't feel like taking on the pirate captain (and all her undead minions in the process) there is a second way. Crystal is terrified of zombies. So we lock the two of them in a room together. If Crystal manages to claw her way through the wall in sheer fright we'll know that Rider is indeed a zombie. Or we could just ask. I already did that... but it was at the Halloween party, so I couldn't tell if it was real or not. I'll go develop the photos. EDIT: I also have a short video clip.

About the stethoscope in the Zombie kit... I don't have a heartbeat...
*notices people preparing to attack him*...uh, wait... maybe I should have explained why I don't have a heartbeat.
NOT BECAUSE I'M A ZOMBIE, BECAUSE I'M AN INANIMATE PEICE OF BACON!!!*cowers in fear*
(I've done several semi-scientific studies on this, and I've found, no matter how smart you get an inanimate object, no matter how good its vocabulary is, what its SAT score is (I even had a tennis ball get accepted into Harvard), you can't get a heartbeat out of it. This is simply because inanimate objects don't have hearts... unless the inanimate object is a... I won't go there.

It's all true.
I admit it, I'm scared to death of the things. And why? Because my own mother is one.
One of my mothers, anyway.
I was born kind of late. Hu's my younger sister but she was born earlier. I know, it doesn't make sense. But the reason for this? See, my mother's uterus wasn't in real good shape, being rotting and all. So when it came time nine months, I failed to be delivered and just kept on growing inside. I vividly remember hearing the words "hussy" and "closet" while floating inside there. Hu, for some reason, had a better location than me. Her company was great fun, but she grew up way too fast, went out and got her own place and a sharp knife.
When Rider-mom was tired of carrying me around past the nine-month period, she popped me out. Literally. Through a rotting hole in her stomach. I remember vividly that shambling, green-skinned look on her face as she realized I WASN'T a rotten shambling green-skinned zombie too. Maybe she figured that even if Hu wasn't, this one might have been. So she tried to bite me. Upon which I grabbed her cutlass, castrated her, and ran away to find Leoness, my other mother.
I've had a phobia of zombies ever since.

Mera wrote a sonnet about her observations (which will be submitted to my poetry class for commenting. oh YEAH)
Past writer’s lands to dark and stormy seas Sail pirate ships with pirate flags flown true And at their head the Captain Rider gleams But more than pirate, she is zombie too. Clothed in makeup and wigs to hide her face And Febreeze essence lingers over smell; This disguise holds, escaping mortal trace Until ninja Kiddo unveils dark lies. The zombies planed dominion over land Shall be halted by the ninja forces. I watch over as strategies are planned, Lingering over my own dark remorses. But as I linger over thoughts in my head, A zombie bites me and soon I’m undead.
*zombie bitten'd*

I owe JH for the warning. To be perfectly honest, I didn't suspect Rider of anything as outrageous of being a zmobie zobmie zombie, but of course, appearances can be deceiving, especially as during my last conversation with Rider, I caught the scent of death and rotting flesh in the air and at first I thought a duel just took place.
I thought wrong.[/shadow]

Meh. I always wondered why pirates smelt so bad.
And Lycos *cough*spot*cough*, you're my hero XD

I've been thinking about this, and I really don't like the idea of just slapping a label on somebody suddenly, especially one like this. You never know how they might react/feel about it. I will *puts paw down* NOT follow along with this ...even if it seems Rider herself is going to. >_> It's just... wrong.
