Gah, I was browsing trough the archives of the Times Lobby. Looking for the issue reviews of my very first publication. I am so ashamed. I just asked for reviews often and I was just plain stupid. I was so silly.  Buddy got mad at me  You know, you really shouldn't ask so much... it gets a bit annoying... Sorry. Ah, the shame  I was a dramaqueen, creating havoc over nothing. Apparently I ticked of Rider too . So how about you, anything of the kind you remember? |

*nod* Uh-uh. I didn't give my username until I got published in the NT. Everyone seemed to be so much better than me.. :/
Remember the time when Blub was hyper-active.. Those were the days...

Well, I actually joined not too long ago, in relation to the age of my Spooky comic. I guess I never got the invite to the NTWF in the beginning, (I think I had over 100 neomails...) so I didn't know about the place. In fact, I had 12 comics in the Times before someone neomailed me and asked if I used the NTWF, which I hadn't, so I joined. Then I just kinda' snuck into the conversations here and there until I felt comfortable. At least I got to jump from New Member to Times Regular, without the in-between rank.  |

I remember the first post I made was on a waiting room thread, it was '*faints*' or something, we were all fainting from lack of NT. Rider and Blub were nice, and made me feel at home right away. Thanks guys!

Anyway, I joined a bit over a year ago, long after my first NT publication, but before I hit the 30 trophy mark. I met Tahu over the chetboards while doing research for an article, and he invited me. I was terrified that I wouldn't fit in. I posted a lot, but never really to anyone. Just en generale. (French, not typos.) No warm-hearted banter, etc. Didn't start warming up to anyone until Plush, Wolfy and Roxy started talking to me. I kind of bonded to them. Then Buddy IMed me. I flipped out at him 'cause I thought he was this kid from school that I hate. I was soooo embarrassed when I found out it was Buddy. I'm done yammering and reminicing. [/glow] |

Lol, I'm still rather new here, just starting to adjust to insanity.  Actually, I first visited here when Rider posted a link to it on TNC (The Neopian Commentary for those who don't know) about some Darigan-time-thingy. Then Rider mentioned it again in a Neomail, so I got intrigued. Then I joined. History. |

I got the neomail and desided to cheack it out. But NTFW didn't wanted to be seen it took me a few days just to get here! Then I started posting in The Times Lobby and slowly branched off. I remeber rider's first post about the rules and I was worred that some one here would get mad a me because I broke the rule, and I was introduced to the sirus rider riverlry right from the start |

I can only remember a little. A friend of mine was bugging me to join and in the end I did. And then I couldn't figure out how to post and stuff and he gladly helped me. And I think I was a bit of a noob back then, too, not to mention big-headed.

I was worried that no one knew who I was (I'd been in the Times since Week 26, for crying out loud! Nevermind the 83 weeks of absence)...
But now I understand just how many writers there are.

I remember being asked to join shortly after Shidi and Aus formed the NTWF.
I mostly sat back in the background, offering a word or two here and there.
I still do that. Mostly hang in the background, inviting a few people to join, and answering a question or two.

I came, saw the sophisticated avatars, and forum, panicked, left, regrouped, came back, took it to the house and dominated.
Mostly because Wolf asked me to. I didn't regret my decision ever since.
