I remember hating every single person on this forum because no one understood that I wanted their attention and for someone to tell me it was okay to be upset that my dad has psuedo-tumor cerebri. And of course, I never came right out in the open and asked for help or even told anyone that he's sick. That didn't change until college. Yeah, I was extremely irrational. Buuut Pat invited me at a very awkward time in my life.

At first, I refused to join the NTWF after Pat invited me because my short story had been published and not my comic. I feel like an idiot. I remember my first thread, too. <3 It was about how the submission form kept on going to a completely blank page when I submitted something to the NT. Sockeh was the first person to reply. Fun fun...

Eh, Pat invited me to join after she saw my second short story in the Times (no one remembers my first article. XD). At first I replied to her saying that I was really shy, because I knew that really great writers were in there. That's why my name here was at first, "AmateurWriter". XP Then I changed it to "Kat the Nuisance", since I thought I annoyed people. I never even posted a thread saying "Hi, I'm new", because I was so afraid that someone might tell me off. In fact, I even thought that the rank upgrades were for post count. XDDDDDD Stupid meh. I didn't reappear again till I met Jey, aka chaos_jess (on Neopets), and we instantly became friends. The second person I met was JH, and we never knew that we would become rivals at some point in our lives. I actually THOUGHT HE WAS 20 YEARS OLD!!!

A.K.A. every single new author ^_^ Well, that's a few. And several have been invited by other members. The NTWF is open to everyone, not just the people who get into the NT. Problem is that I don't have to time to invite everyone that gets into the writing, poetry and art contests... X.X And for having so many members, the NTWF, for the most part, is very well behaved and fun to Admin. There have been very few actual fights I have had to take care of. I am so happy with all of you!

Thanks! ^_^ And thankfully you never had any problem with the Kat/JH rivalry while it still existed. XD Or with me. ^^;

I was pointed here by two people at the same time. I'm not quite sure what dragged me into the NT in the first place, but i started reading it and decided to do a comic of my own after watching my friend do some comics in our yearbooks and after being impressed by stone's stuff.
In preparation for my comic, I wanted to make sure I had permission from all of the NT people I mentioned in it. I neomailed about 14 people, where I believe Patjade and Random_Joy invited me here. My first thread was one on the NT Staff call, asking if it was okay to mention all of those people in the comic. ^^ I got addicted to the NTWF quickly ...

I used to be tremendously active in the NTAG. A lot of people there directed me here. I resisted for awhile, caved in finally, and here I am. I felt very awkward and out of place for some time. I even refrained from posting and just ghosted a lot. It was probably the people I knew from the NTAG who greeted me and showed me around the place that actually made me stay. A few weeks later, I got published in the NT and got a Neomail from Pat asking me to join.

In fact, I can't remember Eggz being that bad either. (But I do remember that "Kat the Nuisance" title. I thought you were kidding. ;D)[/glow]

Hmm... I posted my first thread, and it was on the wrong board! Blub told me were to put it, and I tried to delete/move it to that board. Then I deleted my posts, and it looked like Blub started the thread, and I asked him to help me. I felt like a complete loser!

Back in the day, I remember being greeted with rotten tomatoes and mobbed by angry people.
I think the reason I joined the forum was to defend myself against someone accusing me of plagarism. Someone emailed Felicia to say that there was a non-NT story that was similiar to mine and she told me after the first part was published.
I was extremely upset as I'd worked on hard on this series, my mum emailed Felicia to say how upset was about this.
Its all worked out in end, as Felicia understood that I had never even read or heard of the story.
But what a great introduction into being accepted widely into the N.T community. ;D

Eh I'm still new, so I suppose I'm still slightly annoying. But hey. You know what. Smiles all around anyways. ;D

Er. Can't really remember, but I think I just lurked for a while and posted once in a very long while. I remember seeing a thread about the US Patriot act and telling people what 'US PATRIOT' stood for. They probably all knew anyway. And I still feel really really new, which is weird. I think I was too shy to post a 'Hi!' thread, so I never had one. Maybe I'll make one sometime, just for laughs.

I remember the Kat the Nuisance thing... I joined a bit after her.... And I remember that Pat sent me an invitation neomail when I first got published, and I had to explain that I was already a member.... But it was a really weird neomail! It had a line of text.... then twenty blank lines, then another line of text....
