I am Christian and I think who ever made that site is either sick or just plain creepy. I mean a weird goat thingy that has a T-Shirt on that says "I *heart* Jesus" Sick just sick. Oddly I am wondering is this site some creepy joke? "All of our ancestors were on the ark except for our fishy friends." Is this guy nuts or just mocking the church?

I showed it to my dad and we laughed our arses off. XD "Don't talk to those meany athiests! They'll poison your mind!" And of course, the creators of the site aren't brainwashing you at ALL. "Dinosaurs are still alive!" Three words... WHAT. THE. FUDGE. "Women are better suited to carry laundry baskets!" And of course, back in the time of Adam and Eve when they claimed that humanity began, Eve was constantly having to carry groceries and laundry baskets. God REALLY had that in mind when he made humans. These people should be glad they're on the internet. If they were standing right in front of me, well... let's just say that they wouldn't be standing there any more. Wouldn't it make them happy, though, to flee to their athiest-hating Jesus up in the sky? Jesus hated no one. If you read the Bible (or even if you didn't - I never did), you would KNOW THAT. *laughs hysterically* Ah, the stupidity of mankind can be so amusing at times. I believe in God and Jesus and in evolution. They say that evolutionists have no proof that evolution took place, but where is THEIR proof that it didn't? We have a lot more evidence for it than against it. "I lost count of how many gods I have!" My oh my, do these people have a screwed up view of other religions or what? *sigh* It's both funny and sad at the same time...

Short apology since I don't want to derail this board - I let my own personal bias against denominations in general speak back there. Anyways, don't want to make a big deal out of it so this is just a quick apology and a mental note to myself to watch it in the future.

But I'm laughing, too! I mean, just look at that creepy lamb on the front page! That thing scared the crap out of me! And did you see that thing on atheists?! Oh, that one had me in tears! LOL, yeah. My speakers weren't on when I first went, but I turned them on a bit later, went to that page, and... LOL. *shakes head* "I lost count of how many gods I have!" I'm not so sure how many gods Hinduism has (we only studied about the 3 or 4 major ones in school) but there are a LOT of them, actually. There's a temple a few blocks down from my house. The name of the god is outside on a wooden thing, and it's insanely long, no offense to anyone here. I wasn't so much offended as... I don't know... hurt? Saddened? I don't know if those words quite fit the feeling, but they're the closest I can get I guess. The thing is, I really respect your opinion on most religious matters, Kiddo. Most of the time, I very much agree with it as well (what you said on the other thread on the subject of the whole husbands and wives thing was nearly exactly what I would have-- except I don't have a Jay, poor me ). And in fact, when you said this: I was nodding my head in agreement. So then to go down a few posts and find myself and other people whose opinions on religious matters I also respect and who have had and do have an impact on my faith would be seen by you as some of those odd ones because we do fall under the general category of Baptists... was disheartening for me. But I know that we all have different opinions and disagreements on various areas of doctrine, or else there wouldn't be any denominations (how nice that would be, eh?) But there are. Is the Baptist church absolutely right on every little matter of doctrine? I really don't know. Probably not-- we're all only human, after all. My feeling, though, is that what's important they do have right-- but I'm far from believing they have a monopoly on that. When I started college here, I went to a few different churches of different denominations, but it was the Baptist church that I ended up sticking with. As I said, it's partly a matter of comfort-- they run things very much like my church back home. They differ from my church back home (and the Southern Baptist church in general) on a few minor matters, I've found, but the core values and beliefs are the same and are ones that I agree with. They preach sincerely, thoughtfully and uncompromisingly from the Bible. If I moved and found a Baptist church for which these things weren't true, I wouldn't stay just because it was "Baptist," nor would I be averse to attending a church that didn't bear that label but did meet those criteria, which are far more important than a name. You're Baptist? Cool! Hullo, my fellow-denomination sister! XD I personally think these denomination things are stupid.... you're a Christian, I'm a Christian, you believe in Jesus and so do I, and that's all there is to it! (what a simplistic view of life.) XD I wasn't offended by Kiddo's post either, but that could be because I was talking to her on AIM right about then.

But you see, the thing is that many true Hindus don't really believe in all those gods. They believe that the gods just represent different aspects of the Brahma, and use them to help their minds focus on what otherwise would be completely abstract and intangible ideas.

When I first went to this site I had to laugh. This is so ridiculously stupid, I sincerely hope it's a joke. You know, I'm a pretty big Christian. I get annoyed when people swear with God's name and say He doesn't exsist, but this is just dumb. I hate people like this, because it makes everyone who's Christian sound like a pig because these people have such simple-minded ideals. I have nothing against aethiests or people who have different gods than I do. I mean, I don't agree with them, but that doesn't mean that they're bad people and that they're "unsaved." I hate ignorant people like this, it's just so obnoxious!

(Some of the characters talk or make noise when you click on them. The disembodied head at the top of the page is definitely worth a click.)
