I think this is an exception because there are a lot less threads on the 'Ask a Mod' board as there are on the Off Topic board and other popular boards. I think as long as we actually keep on topic and don't wonder onto other topics as we're doing now, I don't think it matters. So let's post on here only when we have a question or comment refering on how to become mods, okay?

I have seen "dead" threads come back to life when someone new adds a different look at it.
there is noting wrong with resurrecting an old thread. It may be like mining for gold. You think the shaft has gone dry until you strike a new vein.

You think the shaft has gone dry until you strike a new vein. Exactly. **nodnod** I don't think I would make a very good mod, but I never really wanted to be one, either. I never really saw any reason to want Modhood thrust upon me. I wouldn't run away screaming if I got picked or anything, though. I'm just sorta neutral.

My feeling about me being a mod is I'm not really on often enough. If I was, I would so totally love to be one! But this is the second time this month that I have been around. So maybe I should ... um...
Okay, my thing with 'deadthreads' is this: Really long threads is great but then any fresh meat that hasn't been listening the whole time has to go through 15 pages to get what the people on the 16th page are saying. Granted it can be kinda fun, but a little frustrating.
Actually, maybe I'm the only one that goes through and reads every other post. Probably everyone else just jumps in after only a page or so of review.
