All I can say is if I find myself made a mini-mod or anything I will hunt down the person responsible and hurt them.
Being in a posistion of authority is a thankless job at best. Been there, done that, have the scars to prove it.

I've never had the chance before and I would love to try it out and do my best at it too. I'm autistic though, that's the problem. Maybe that's why I've never been chosen to do a job like that before. Oh, I don't know. |

Yep, it's a thankless job, and I got drafted. WHen things go right, and people are happy overall, it is good. But that never happens. You have SOME who test your patience and try to challenge you on every tough choice you have to make.
But overall, I hope I am doing a decent job.

^^; I have no chance of being a mod. I'm too lazy, I like to be able to say whatever I want (within reason. If you were a mod you'd have to worry more about offending people and the like...being a representative of the Forum...all that  ), and I'm too lazy  *shrugs* The mods and admins we have now are more than up to the job, though. |

The mods and admins we have now are excellent. They all work hard and do a great job. When we decide we need another mod for whatever reason we usually toss out a few names of people we think would do a good job. Then Pat approaches them. No mods are chosen without prior consent (although in some cases they come along kicking and screaming)  Basically, continue to do a good job and you'll get noticed, plain and simple. |
