A few days ago I finished the Lost Desert act... and I haven't played since. >_>; I should, though, that part with the happy tress is my favorite in the whole game. XD That place just cheers me up!

I'm hoping for a Bow of Destiny or Wand of Reality but that's probably wishful thinking. XD I'd just like something I can actually use in the BD. ...I only just found out that Father's Sword would have worked well against Terask. xD; The guide I've been using doesn't mention it once. Mmyep.

I have never used the Father's Sword against Terask despite knowing about it, because for some reason it makes me queasy to go into the final battle with the weakest weapon equipped. I have this irrational subconscious fear that it won't work for some reason and I'll be locked into doing minimal damage for the whole battle. xD; |

I just forget about FS and by the time I face Terask II, it's too late to go back 'cause you can't flee from him. XD

xD I sold my FS for gold when I was on Normal, probably at the first weapons shop in the game. This time I'll try to hang onto it.
I'm stalled at the Jungle Ruins in NQI too. xD It's not nearly as fun as NQII for me, because everything's magic-based and you don't have any buddies. And also because I didn't specialize in healing, so I burn potions way too fast.

I had no idea about Father's Sword! Too bad I must have sold it a long time ago, and it takes me ages to play NQII each time. XD *Is still in the Haunted Woods in her Evil game*

...If it makes anyone feel better, it took me about four years to finish NQII on Normal mode. xD; And the biggest break I took from it — about two years — was right before fighting the Pant Devils. I was "almost done" for just about three years.
But I dunno, I kinda like that about Neoquest. =D That you can take as much time as you want, and always come back to it later if you need a break.
