I just finished Meridell on Insane. ^_^ Yay! Congrats on getting past Zombom. =D That was the hard part. I feel the game is so much easier once you start getting party members. XD I SO MISS NQ2 DDD= I vow to finish my Silver game after my exams =3 The one I started just after my exams last year, and stopped just before Meuka >.> Ooh, you're almost my NQII twin! =D I'm playing my Evil game too, and last time I played I stopped right after beating Meuka. Maybe we'll finish our games around the same time! ^_^ |

I think I'll start up NQ again. =D I'm hesitant to do the same with NQ II, considering that I'm on InSaNe there and I've already died about five times.
...Oh, carp, I'm in the middle of a Techo Cave and I don't know which one it is! D: This is bad!

I had a dream about Neoquest II last night.  I was in Terror Mountain, and Rohane and Mipsy both got killed, so Talinia had to run on Normal mode to the nearest resting place. It was very strange. I don't even have Talinia yet in my current game.  |

I just rediscovered the difficulty of writing NPCs into a story.
*facepalm*
So hard to keep them in character when all you have to run away with are a few lines of DIALOGUE!

But that gives you more freedom of creativity to expand on their personalities! ...But it is frustrating to work them in when there are so many of these underdeveloped characters. XD |

And TNT finally explains the long-talked about issue of the Cloud of Fleas... Just how is Talinia able to pierce a cloud of fleas for any damage whatsoever? She's awesome, but I didn't think she was that epic. O.O ~niddyz How do fleas make a cloud anyway? Do they all jump at the same time? As far as Talinia goes, she covers her arrow's feathers with bug spray, ignites it, and sends it streaming into the jumping fleas. Well, we imagine it that way, at least. (image) Erm, don't try this at home. yaay it all makes sense now =D |

Neoquest is the only reason I go on Neopets anymore. It's such a fun game. Since I have some free time, I'm finally planning on finishing my NQII Insane game which I started playing almost two years ago. Just kicked some Four Faerie butt (which I was nervous about) and am currently over-leveling to go face the Esophagor. Skipping Nox because the tower is torture. :/ Gosh, it's been a while since I've gone on Neo (and been on here).  |

Just have to rant.
I finished NQII on Insane last night. Well, this morning, but you know how that is. With Terask II at about 1300 health remaining, I accidentally had Velm throw a slowing potion instead of group healing because Terask had come un-slowed and I wasn't paying attention. Of course, before Velm's turn was up again, he died.
I stared at the screen reading the words "Velm has been defeated" for at least a minute with this sick feeling of "Oh god, I'm going to have to play through the whole thing again 'cause I clicked the wrong button." Then I decided, what the heck, I might as well try to finish it. After applying liberal amounts of Jhudora's Lifeforce Potion to my team and making sure haste was up and Terask was slowed--i.e. pressing damage dealing buttons once or twice for every time all my guys acted--and being perpetually afraid of Terask healing faster than I could kill him, I whittled him down to nothing.
I reveled in my trophy and my accomplishment--killing Terask after Velm died--and then jumped to my inventory.
Staff of Righteous Fury. Of the four possible rewards, I get the mostly-worthless one. The others are worth at least ten times as much. Girr.... I mean, I can't really complain about the free 100k to go along with my nifty trophy, but the grass IS always greener on the other side.

Look on the bright side. You have the trophy and the bragging rights. Add an extra bragging right for pushing through even after Velm pushed up the daisies. ^_^
