Peachi, take a look at your fellow 12-year olds at school (unless you're homeschooled, in which case look at the other 12 year olds in your family and neighborhood). No, you are not outstandingly mature for being 12, but you're probably a 1 out of 25 (roughly the size of a class, no?).
Hmmmm, I was 12 when I signed up on Neopets.

You call yourself old, Patjade? By comparison to us, yes, you are. But both of my parents are over ten years older than you, and even still my dad has his silly moments all the time. 'Course everyone underestimates his age because he doesn't have any gray hair yet. Actually, "age" is a chronological thing. My body shows some signs of it, yet I don't have hardly any gray hair, and I refuse to act "my age". I may not hang out with teens in real life, but here we are all pretty much equal, and have enough in common that we enjoy talking to each other. |

I just looked up your age, Patjade. I always thought you wer around 24 and, at the most, possibly 30. Strange, learn new things everyday... I refuse to be ANYONE'S "Grandmother", although I seem to have become "mom" to a few people I know. I prefer being like an older sister, though.  My signature line tells it all. and I have been using it for years. |

Happy Birthday! My birthday's on the 12th of January, and my mom's is on the 30th of December. I like the Dr. Death plushies, but I missed the advent calendar that day, unfortunately.  But I bought it anyway, go see my shop, i've got a gallery of plushies and stamps.

Something wrong with knitting? ;_; Can't knit and play Neopets at the same time. Yes, I know a little about how to knit. It was a mandatory class in High School, in HomeEc. I preferred to take the science classes instead, though. |

^^ My li'l sis's birthday is January 3rd. She was supposed to be born Christmas Day.
My grandmother knits, or used to, but she also still goes hiking in Alaska, lives in her own home, and mows her own lawn. My dad also used to knit; now he's taken up crocheting ^^ 'Tis not 'grandmotherly', or at least not exclusively so.
