My apologies for my Christmas strip... I admit it was kinda lame. For some reason or other, I'm not feeling particularly "Christmas-y" this year ( Note to self: Maybe I should've made a Grinchy strip). But at least I did work in a "Chet Flash" reference in the background. Whee!

Go, Speed Peachi, Go!
A Dark Christmas by 2hot4u181 - All together now...1...2...3..."AWWWW!!!" This wasn't an orthodox Christmas story, to say the least. I enjoyed reading it. Although, I do wonder who sent the fax. A Dark Final Grade: A+
Draconian Homecoming by leb388 - I laughed out loud reading this. This was cute and funny, overall a fantastic read! Homecoming Final Grade: A+
*Le sigh.* I'm being lazy again. You've got to snap out of this, Speed Peachi.

I got this feeling when I sent this week's comic in that people wouldn't get it...I think that some poeple thought that Bucky meant that since it's fruitcake, it's always good...he meants that it's fruitcake, meaning it's NEVER good ;D

Your Guide on How to Be Heroic by stoneman3x-- I knew just by the title that it's a rebuttal to "Your Guide on How to Be Evil," by felabba, and I hate rebuttal articles, but meh. That's right--this article is meh. ? Uv Corse We Can Speel! by stoneman3x-- Stone, are you having an original-writing-block? This article was so annoyingly and purposely misspelled that I refused to read it. The funny thing is, I didn't care if the articles got in. I submitted a Christmas story series, which I personally thought was one of the best things I had ever written. It took me over a month to write it-- and it was just three parts. But there will be no Neopian Times this week, and if a Christmas story I submitted three weeks ago didn't get in this issue then it's dead forever. I was just thinking, "Well, maybe I stink at writing stories and my comic is lukewarm, so maybe I should just stick to writing articles." But it is apparent that I stink at that as well. In any event I don't see myself ever writing another story. Why waste a month of my time and get rejected again? If I don't know what I did wrong with this one, I could very easily make the same mistake again. Another month and a hundred+ hours of time wasted. It's obvious that the Neopian Times is overflowing with real talent and I am wasting space on it that could be going to someone with a flair for writing that I seem to lack. Thank you everyone for your indulgence, and I apologize for my shortcomings. { STONE }

*gasp* Stoneman! You are essential to the NT! Your articles are extremely funny! That chatspeak one? It rocked. Leb didn't read it all, and so she failed to see the point of it! And don't worry about a late christmas series - it's okay, isn't christmas every day? Well then! And leb: where exactly is the constructive criticism in your reviews?

And about your Christmas story- maybe if it isn't too Christmasy, you can edit it so that it's a kind of story that takes place in winter and has a touch of celebrative spirit from winter occasions like Christmas or New Years Eve/day.

A Dark Final Grade: A+ *grins* It's a total secrect, not even I know! Dark: Usually that means she has writer's block or something. Megz:-.- But that christmas story I know was sort of sad, but I kind feel eh about christmas this year. It's not been a very good year for me.

I haven't read any of your stories, but you're really good. Don't feel bad... I like your articles, especially those this week.

That's right--this article is meh. What does "meh" mean?

"meh" means the same as "blah", I think.
BTW, for all those interested (or not). Josh Fixed "The Misadventures of Doc Zappy". Peruse, Grade, but remember, I have plenty of Fruit Cake left over (see my previous post). ;D

Stoneman, don't say that! I don't think even al_the_chia's stories made me laugh harder than your article about the Meridell plot! YOu other articles were funny too, and your chat speak article this week was BRILLIANT. YOu made several good points about chatspeakers without even arguing the side you were on: many chatspeakers don't even know the definitions of some of their lingo; they often don't do well in school; I cracked up at the satire when you said that they chat speak "to be different and do what my friends are doing." I LOVED that! I can't say the same about your comics, but the Neopian Times just wouldn't be the same with out your articles.
There is actually a brand of fruit cake that I LIKE. I've tried different brands once or twice and they were icky, but this one actually tastes GOOD. I don't know what it's called, though.
