Well I was wondering, seeing how I'm going to be 19 in May (happy birthday to me ;D), would I be able to work for Neopets?
LOL, no don't worry, I'm not hunting for your jobs. I wouldn't wish your jobs on my worst enemy! Ha, ha, ha, ha-- er, that is... um... *clears throat* That is to say, i'm just looking for some boring entry level job.

I looked at the employment page as well (for no apparent reason). I don't know Japanese.

I beleive there was once an opening for something that has to do with writing. Unfortunately, that position is now closed, so why even bother to read this paragraph? I'm only 13, so 5 more years! But I don't live near Glendale either. Besides, I don't know a word of Japanese except for "Konichiwah". (Is that how you spell it?)

I'd love to be a translator for Neopets. Honestly, Japanese translation is what I plan to do when I get older. ^_^
However, not living in California (or anywhere NEAR California), not being older enough, and not knowing my kanji (pfft, I never study it. I say down with kanji!) I could never get that job...
Demo, sono shigoto ga hoshii desu yoo...

I would have applied for the writing job, except I was living in Tokyo at the time.
And I would NOT be a translator, no matter how much they paid me!

I wish I could work for neopets! *dreams* But, alas, I'm only 12. ;D Maybe they could hire kids to test out their merchandise? *grin*

>.< But Kanji is Chinese-ish, and I speak Chinese! >.< Huwawa. Not very fluently though. Yeah, Kanji is in Japanese too... I can read some of it, but not a lot. I always confuse the onyomi and the kuyomi. I can't write them for beans either. I really need to get a kanji dictonary one of these days (but I even have trouble reading those dictonaries! Honestly...*mutters*.)

I wouldn't say it's strictly feminine, everyone uses it... I hate this word, it's so incredibly overused...*grumbles* There's no 'n', it's gozaimasu I'm not quite sure what you're saying here...sorry? In that case it's Gomen for casual and Gomenasai for polite. Again, drop the 'n' - gozaimasu Iie - nice and difficult Close enough, but there's not really a 'c' in Japanese, so it should be 'k' Gambatte - but there are several ways to say this. Okairi really, but most r's are pronounced closer to d's so close enough. You can also say Ja ne, but apparently not in Chinese... Those are all fairly basic phrase book things, there isn't really any reason to study the language unless you plan on traveling or visiting Japan. Or if you plan to specialize in foreign languages... But good luck, it's not one of the easiest languages out there.

But good luck, it's not one of the easiest languages out there. You can say that again... *continues to finish the horrible Japanese homework of death*
