Draco I'm absolutely dying with envy over that Azumanga Daioh DVD set. I also spy a Rosario + Vampire set in there-- one of my best cosplays of the last few years was Moka! I think I'm going to start a new thread for cons & cosplay. I'll post the pictures over there so you all can see! Azumanga Daioh was one of the first I got (Fullmetal Panic was first). Got it randomly not knowing what I was going into XD We've talked about Rosario + Vampire before when you were still thinking about putting together a costume XD

So yeah, before I took the picture of my dvd/bluray collection, I got a new series. Girls Und Panzer, pictured with some pins I got a few years ago at Anime Expo that go with the series when they were promoting the series. Then yesterday I got another series I ordered a while ago. I didn't take a picture of it myself... Figured it would be easier to just show the picture from the website. It comes with the DVD and Blurays, soundtrack, a poster, set of stickers, book, and all comes in a chipboard box. I love the chipboard boxes anime come in, I miss when those were the standard for box sets XD

Then yesterday I got another series I ordered a while ago. Wow, that is a fancy Nozaki-kun. What's in the book? Episode guide, character guide, interview things with some of the Japanese voice cast and staff, tanuki, tour of the school, clubs, mall, tanuki, festival, etc, talking about the in series manga and games mentioned, some music lyrics (sing along corner) of some of the songs on the sound tracks, some shiny pictures of the characters (postcard sort of style), and of course tanukis. It's a nice small hard cover book. I sort of don't want to open it and mess things up, but also curious and will probably read it XD

I just finished anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day & I am covered in tears. whyyyy
It was one of those shows I went into KNOWING it was a famous tearjerker, and I cry at everything, so I don't know what I expected lol. It was still great; I just am dead & dying.

I'm watching Gurren Lagann now. This was loooong overdue. It's one of my favorites XD But I like most things from that team of animators. Also, after watching, check out the movies (just retelling of the series, but the ending stuff is awwwwwesome in the movie)

So I'm not sure how I feel about more episodes. A lot of fans have wanted to see a continuation. Knowing FLCL the question is where do they actually continue? Story wise it would be best to follow Haruko, but not sure her alone could hold the show. You need the sort of normal person XD

Considering the first series's focus on the psychological and sexual development of an adolescent boy, perhaps they could explore a counterpoint in Mamimi.

I hate to double post but Ping Pong was just added to Crunchy Roll and it's super good. Seriously impressive animation.
Also anyone else watch Mob Psycho 100? That was my favorite last season.

I started to watch Mob Psycho, but didn't really get into it. I still plan on finishing though. (only really saw the first couple episodes.) Last season I watched Food Wars and Sweetness & Lightning. Right now I'm watching Drifters, Nanbaka, March Comes In Like A Lion, and Kiss Him Not Me. Plus continuing Dragon Ball Super.

If it's not your thing, it's not your thing. That's cool. I just really, really thought the animation was playful and cool and it gets into another angle on some of the themes that were raised in One Punch Man. It takes a little to warm up but I was sold by episode 3. XD
I'm also watching March Comes in Like a Lion. That's a charming one. Yuri on Ice and Gakuen Handsome are my other shows right now.
