I'm seriously hooked on this group (if it is a group, I think it's just the singer and her husband). I love this sort of music, and I must sincerely thank Youtube for leading me here.

I've been listening to this song on repeat for pretty much the entire day. I love the intro soooo much.

Since I'm typing on iPod, no links forthcoming. But lately I've had a mild obsession with five songs:
"Faster" by Matt Nathanson. No idea what it is about the song, but I love it.
"Hey Mama" by Mat Kearney. This is just a well done fun song to listen to. Catchy but in a good way.
"Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster the People. I guess it's getting a lot of radio play lately, so you've probably heard it.
"Up All Night" by blink-182. First new Blink song in years. And it sounds amazing. Tom brings his matured AVA sound to the band, combined with the +44 sounds of the other two.
And the surprising one... "1000 Ships" by Rachel Platten. This song is pure bubblegum teen girl pop. But it's so catchy I can't stop liking it.
(also in the mix, but more widely known, "Never Gonna Leave This Bed" and "Moves like Jagger" by Maroon 5 and "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" by Coldplay)

Pumped Up Kicks! That's one of my defining songs of this summer haha. And Mumford & Sons are always great.

So tagging songs with descriptions is all very well, and it's always a bit of a thrill to find a completely weird tag combination that still works. But there's a limit to how far you can take bizarre combinations, right? I mean, there isn't... say... a record out there that could be tagged with both "metal" and "sunny/fluffy", right?
Right?
(nb: this is loud)
