You don't know epic until you've heard this.

Okay so Bon Iver's For Emma, Forever Ago is kind of maybe the most beautiful album ever and I think everyone should listen to it. <3

Soundtrack time! Lawrence of Arabia theme- Composed by Maurice Jarre for the film Lawrence of Arabia. (Not a song. So what? =P It's epic.) Is It Real?- Cowboy Bebop OST. (So sad and yet so peaceful.)

Apart from the obvious Vienna Teng love (I think Harbour, The Tower and Homecoming feature as the cream of an incredibly potent crop), I've had a recent fascination with Vanessa Carlton's music. Too bad none of the radio stations play her more recent songs; I think I would cheer if I heard White Houses come on on the radio. *sigh* I really love Five for Fighting's songs too. 100 Years probably would come foremost amongst them. Most all his songs make for very good creative-inspiration generators, too. Also, I didn't go through this entire thread, but did anyone else mention Taylor Swift? Long Live, Superman, Untouchable, Haunted, Sparks Fly, and Back to December are such lovely songs. Speak Now (the album, of course) has some really nice gems tucked away in its corners.

The Alan Parsons Project did so many incredible instrumentals, but I think In the Lap of the Gods will always be my favourite (you can't tell me your interest is not hooked with a title like that, and the song lives up to it). <3
