I have learned today that putting the music to Viva la Vida behind other songs, any song, is likely to make them sound Epic and Important XD Some highlights that I've been listening to:
Viva la Vida/Clarity/Stay the Night
Viva la Vida/Cool Kid/Latch
Viva la Vida/Titanium/Radioactive

Oooh I love those mashups! The last one's delightfully bizarre and the first one's seamless. ^///^
I've got one of my own that just fills me with energy and makes me calm all at once--I can't quite explain it. It's like approaching peace and sadness and charging simultaneously.
Well...it's not the most popular mashup of these songs, but I love this one the most. The lyrics and melody match up pretty well--it's almost like one song from different perspectives.
Who knew Paradise and Wide Awake could work so well? >w<
I guess Coldplay's just full of possible mashup material?

I posted part of it over on the song lyrics thread earlier, but I cannot stop listening to Florence + the Machine's Too Much is Never Enough. (stand by me is also a recommendation)

I've been trying out this artist tonight by listening to a number of his songs, and this one stuck out to me the most so far:

If you haven't already seen it, I highly recommend this new song, Starlight Brigade. I'm less familiar with the band TWRP, but since I follow a lot of the Game Grumps on social media, I got a lot of notifications about this due to Dan's part in it. Even without the song, the animation alone is worth the watch! It's basically a whole anime/movie in four minutes.
I've lowkey had this on repeat since yesterday x3

"Air and Light" by Sean and Dean Kiner, made for Extra History. (CW for a very cartoonish representation of a stabbed man)
This song is not even my favourite out of all the music done for Extra History. However, it is the one that has stirred up the most emotions in me. This is made to accompany a story around the time of the beginning of the end of the Roman republic and it just feels like something grand is falling apart. It's heartbreaking and I love it. Plus it has the most beautiful title (quoted from a speech by Tiberius Gracchus).
