Saw Phantom of the Opera live today, and Billy Flynn was right. If the show's spectacular enough, you don't care if the cast is lousy.
(Also, secondary gloat, I managed to both praise and insult Phantom in the same sentence in which I also referenced Chicago. That's impressive by my accounts.)

How can one 3 or 4-year-old kid dance to my violin playing for almost an hour straight? (And man, playing nothing but fast stuff for that long gets tiring.) But, due to his absolute fascination of me, his family purchased my newly-compiled album of varying recordings and compositions; it was the first one I sold. So, yeah. I'm now a semi-professional musician!  |

Okay so I ran for an hour in the sun doing various errands, hurt my foot, and haven't had a thing to eat all day.
