I finally got Excel Saga 25 and 26 in the mail. I freaking love this series. It makes me so sad knowing that book 27 is the end.

It's a great feeling when you're sitting out on the curb making a watercolor and a little four-year-old kid comes by and smiles and tells you it's really pretty. =D

I don't know how today went overall, but right now I'm feeling lighthearted and I think maybe I'll sleep well tonight.
maybe it's the sweet tea and watermelon and carrots and clementine oranges I stuffed my face with today.
(also with this post, I will have 101 posts in mini gloats and 194 in the old mini-rants 2. I think those need to be even, at least. it can happen.)
(also I started a journal post in a kind of down mood, and it inexplicably ended up talking about cats wearing hats. I think that's about as good an ending as I could have hoped for.)
