Does anyone else ever get this creative itch? I have it now. It's a feeling that you want to do something creative--write something, draw something, make music, just create something--but you don't know exactly what to do, and you've yet to be visited by your muse to get an idea. You just sit there, brooding, waiting.
I just wanted to know if anyone else knows what I mean....

I DO!!! All the time! I get this sudden urge to draw/write something, but then once I get my sketchpad/open a word processor, I don't know what it is. So, I just sit there and try to figure out what I want to do...even though I never do it. It's actually very annoying. Wow, I'm not alone! ;D

Then my muse takes a lunch break and a nap and forgets completely... I hate my muse, sometimes. She usually starts up when I am driving in the car, and leaves when I get home... I'm filing a complaint with the muse union!

I get this feeling all the time. But seconds before I start, I think about it more and find out that what I wanted to add to my story is stupid and so I trash it.
It's actually rather annoying.

Yes... plenty of times... so I just sit there and think of what to do, and eventually, my mind begins to forget.

Yep, I always wonder why the urge and the ideas never come together The ideas always come when I'm trying to do something else, like study for a really important math test...

I have that feeling too. Like, I have this really good idea for a story I want to write (not neopets related), but don't know where to start. I always find writing stories for Neopets easier because you already have stuff you can chose to write about anything in Neopia. It's much easier for me.
But I find that it's time I challenged myself and wrote something in real life terms.

ALL the time. Other times, I know more or less what I want to write, but not exactly what, and I just can't bring myself to press any keys.
