Well what do you know?
I was sorting through the mail this afternoon when I happened upon a letter from a school I applied to (simply a back-up), University of Wisconsin.
I figured it was maybe just some sort of letter until I turned it over. On the back, all over the envlope flap, was written the word YES!
Apparently I have been accepted into the University of Wiscosin, so I began to scream "OH MY GOD!" (to which my mom began to scream. "MY GOD WHAT HAPPEND?!).
Though it is, of course, not my first choice or even a conceivable one...at least it is nice to know that I got accepted somewhere! ^_^

So, what's your major? Or your minor? What's your future career? I am going to do a dual major in both Japanese and Graphic Arts, however Wisconsin isn't as strong in those fields so it's just a backup. Erm...future career is hazy, but it'll be one of those... I hope... |

Cool! I applied for early admission to Wesleyan University, and after all my submissions were in, I got a hand signed letter from the dean of admissions saying a bunch of nice things, including " we are particularly interested in your candidacy". I won't know until Dec 15 if they accepted me, but I'm hoping it's a good sign....and my mother and I shared a similar moment, Linnen... hehe  |

WOO-HOO! CONGRATULATIONS! *hugs* Yes, what was your first choice? I hope you get it! I'm nervous about whether or not I can get into Notre Dame. I'm in 8th grade  . A tad bit early to be worrying, eh? WOO-HOO! ^_^ |

And don't be surprised if your last choice becomes the one you go to... I was dead-set on going to OSU until Bowling Green called me about scholorships... I hadn't even applied because I KNEW I wouldn't be going there... heh.
So anyways, its a good thing you're being smart unlike me who didn't have a backup and had to do the world's fastest college application.
