Today, TNT made this announcement. (From: www.neopets.com/neoboards/topic.phtml?topic=162413309 ) It seems right now, Ruffle emulation doesn't work for everything, and there are several bugs. I would also suggest that you load a separate Neopets page in a different tab before sending any score in order to maximize your chances of a game score sending, because there are issue with sending score too. It looks like not every game works properly. I booted up Imperial Exam and found that every word bubble had the word "undef", and it looked like even that was cut off. Whether they passed or failed was random, and in the end my score sending was undefined. However, then I booted up Word Poker and was able to play a normal game, and after loading a different Neopets table to get back Stackpath, I was able to send my score. I'm sure someone more dedicated than me will come up with a list of games that work at some point. The link that TNT provided has a link to some known issues, but they're not fleshed out at the moment. I assume we have to report these issues and that they'll hopefully be fixed over time. However, a lot of games that weren't previously playable to those who didn't have Ruffle can now play a lot more games, and I call that good news. However you take this, feel free to share your experiences here! Even if it's just or more games you really wanted to revisit, because I think we all have That One Game that we really wanted to play that might be playable now.

I may or may not make posts with extra commentary on the games themselves, but I'll keep this post as a list of games I've tried, and how well they work. Keep in mind that this is my own personal list. Your experience may be different. But it may give you some ideas of what to expect too.
OUTDATED - If nothing else, I noticed that Imperial Exam works fine now.
Ran perfectly: -Biscuit Brigade -Eliv Thade -Gadsgadsgame -Hungry Skeith -Meerca Chase II -Pterattack -Revel Roundup -Time Tunnel -Tug of War -Web of Vernax
Perfect except some UI issues: -Great Qasalan Caper (some delay in text loading; otherwise very playable) -Word Poker (minor UI issue with the word list)
Runs well but je ne sais quoi: -Nimmo's Pond (the lilypads don't have to touch you to hit you, as long as they get close)
Playable with Major Issues: -Extreme Herder (Petpets either act normally, are stuck in place, or immediately wander off the map where you can't retrieve them. Workaround is to get eaten by Balthazar to restore remaining petpets and just accept a low score, but the issue remains. Don't let Balthazar wander off screen, or the game will be soft locked.) -Faerie Bubbles (No text, just numbers and bubbles. Send Score button is invisible. You can click it, but good luck finding it and not hitting the Menu button. But it looks cleaner and it aims better.)
Unplayable: -Imperial Exam (all words are undefined) -Ultimate Bullseye II -Volcano Run II (you don't get far before you burn up inexplicably) -Wingoball (all words undefined, can't shoot ball)

Bouncy Supreme works basically flawlessly. Conversely, Wingoball is unplayable -- "instant red gnome" whenever a ball is even thrown. Every other game I don't really care about. (Unless they've also brought back Destruct-o-Match II.)

Eyy, that's exciting! They followed through on the original date they gave for making some games accessible again, which isn't that high of a bar, but you'll take what you can get here xD
A couple of my favorite games are back! Namely, Revel Roundup and Toy Box Escape. I've only played through each once so far, but nothing immediately sticks out as unplayable to me at least. Revel Roundup feels just like it did before, with maaaybe a little lag to it. Toy Box Escape also plays the same, although I noticed that somewhere in the middle of each round, Neopets of the same species will all switch to the same color. Their boxes at the bottom will keep their original colors, and you can still control them like normal, but I can see someone losing track of who's who on screen if they're no paying attention.

Some of us have already been playing games with Ruffle since December last year, so this isn't new. But it's nice to see Ruffle officially implemented on the site itself so that people don't have to go out of their way to specifically install Ruffle. I have a full list of what works and what doesn't work on www.neopets.com/~Eggered. All the games I have listed there are games that I playtested myself. However, I have not updated that page since the beginning of the Altador Cup in early June, so some things may have changed since then. I feel disappointed with this update overall, to be honest. I guess I kinda expected the Games Room to be properly overhauled and the list of working games to be put there. Instead, we're having to figure out ourselves which games work and which don't. The main Games page is also misleading still. The Better Than You doesn't work, Rink Rinner resets the score after each level-up, Hasee Bounce sometimes shows a "NaN" error, Igloo Garage Sale falsely flags players as "suspicious." Like why include obvious links to these games if they don't work? Take down the links and direct people to the games that do work. Not to mention, Stackpath is active and interrupting score-sends for the classic games and there isn't an official warning on the games page telling people to refresh an alternate tab to bypass it. I don't know. It just all feels so broken and poorly communicated to me, even though it is a slight improvement from the way it was before. Anyway, some of my personal favorite games that work with Ruffle: - Meerca Chase II on gravity mode (type "superextrahypergravitymode" to access it) - Petpet Rescue - Spell-or-Starve. I once wrote a whole guide about that game x)

Yes, I am also one of those people who already had Ruffle installed to play games xD
The novelty here, for me at least, is less so in the games themselves, and more so the fact that TNT is actually working to take the burden off my shoulders to make the site function after all these years lol. It’s a small step, of course, and it’s now a question of how well they do it. That’s where exploring the games and their level of function comes in: how much of a burden did they actually take from us?
Ideally a game should stand on its own legs when guiding a player through its experience, so I don’t like the fact that outside community is still necessary to know things like refreshing for Stackpath before you send a score. It’s great that the Neo community is helpful enough to disperse this info best it can, but it shouldn’t be required for you to plug into those channels else you learn these workarounds the hard way.
I’m also confused why they’re using the classic games layout instead of the new site layout’s games tab, as now I need to click through three pages to get to where I want and avoid links to games that don’t work (also might be good to remove Comastar’s picks as it’s been almost ten years since she was laid off).
It’s been just one day so far, though, so now that they have followed through on their original promise of the 25th, I’ll be curious to see if they keep this momentum going or if it’ll stall here. There’s a lot on the site to fix and update, so honestly any movement like today’s will catch my interest. I wanna see if they’ll use this as a kicking off point for even more improvements or not now.

Question:
Does this include the return of classic games, like good Kass Basher?

OuO Oh good, now hopefully it can save the fact that we unlocked hard mode, and not have to unlock it again every time we play.
