Day 5: Liminal  Any chance I get, I can and will take to practice perspective and city scapes because I know I need practice. I know this looks a little empty, but I was more working getting the building shapes down. Also, my fountain pen was running dry, so I filled it up. Thing is, it was a bit leaky after I filled it, which led to some smudges and pools exactly where you don't want it. I don't think it helped that I was using a ruler a lot. The pen is a lot better now, it's probably just the excess ink getting out of the mechanisms. |

Me, first posting in this thread: I'm probably not gonna do much for Artober, I have another project I'm doing Me, sketching after midnight after October 1st: THIS MAGICAL GIRL DRAWING MUST BE LINED AND FULLY DIGITALLY COLORED, NO MATTER HOW MANY DAYS IT TAKES, IT IS NECESSARY ...Anyway, so, I drew Liou's awesome magical girl design for Tracy, with Robyn's fabulous Puella Paloma Columbidae! =DDD Day 1: Magical Girl AU BRACE FOR SPARKLE I had SO MUCH FUN with this, you all. xD And have a bonus sketch, zoomed out with Diana and Julie ( Celestial, Gelquie), maybe before they get blasted by undignified magic sparkle beams and boomerangs or something?  If I was REALLY dedicated to this AU, I'd reread the whole RP and figure out outfits for more hero characters and also secret villain magical girl outfits for the mafia, too, because a mafia game could probably translate well into a lighter toned "four people in magic disguises are wreaking havoc across town, but whoever could they be behind the mask??" setup. XD ...But I am not that dedicated, and I was just here to have a blast drawing preexisting designs, for now. 8DD |

I've been stumped on today's OCtober prompt, so instead I just focused on the NTWFtober prompt, which I'd actually started a few days ago xD I've recently gotten into the band Tally Hall, who were around in the mid-2000's to early 2010's, and who made an internet show in 2008 to promote their album. The show is a series of surreal comedy skits, which I'd recommend if you like a mix of silly and dark humor x3
But the prompt "Weird Dream" gave me an excuse to draw one of my favorite segments from the show, Dream Journal. Ross' dream journal specifically inspired me, as it feels accurate to the real dream experience.

I didn't follow an OCtober prompt today so there's no real point posting in that thread, but I still drew some Gibi. I thought she'd look cute without her coat, and a reference of that may also come in handy, so I drew that instead: |

And keeping in the theme of character refs, I did a (slightly belated) piece for the NTWFtober theme, Winter Beach! I figured I could draw my characters, who usually live in a winter land, in their beach outfits x3 Some day these will come in useful. |

A day late, but I couldn't not celebrate the Quill prompt by drawing my own Quill character! He's the AU child of Twillie and Jonathon because I have no self control; he's not canon but he can be fun to play around with in my head x3 I drew him as both a baby and a young adult with whatever little scenes I could think of. I'm not good at drawing babies, so do forgive that xD |
