You all know I'm taking part in Inktober. This'll be my fifth year and I'm so excited.
That being said, given the nature of the prompts I'm following, I won't be able to post all 31 days here on the NTWF. I will be doing all 31, though. God cannot stop me.

I'm planning on primarily using the OCtober prompt list this year, although I'll probably also have other prompts on hand to refer to when I want or need. Will likely be looking at prompts made from here first, like NTWFtober (I wanna try and do as many as I can, however you organize them Ginz :3) and the list you made Lizica! I'm wondering though, how do you all find other prompts online? I've come across a couple on twitter, so I guess it's just a matter of following artists who might make their own lists?
I'm also planning to make each daily drawing related to a comic I've got in the planning stages, as I'm hoping it'll help exploring character and world ideas. Might also get other people interested in what I've got so far, who knows xD
This year I want to take the event more seriously, which means probably breaking some rules like drawing however many prompts I want/need ahead of time, and I'm gonna gather some references and write ideas for the days to come. I even made my own graphic of the OCtober prompt list to print out so I can have something physical to look at and cross days off, but before that the printer needs to cooperate and not just print out blank pages >> Hopefully I can get that figured out lol

Aaahhh, the NTWFtober list looks AMAZING, Ginz! The design and colors are gorgeous! And the prompts themselves sound super fun, besides. =DD Great lineup! I'm wondering though, how do you all find other prompts online? I've come across a couple on twitter, so I guess it's just a matter of following artists who might make their own lists? Yeah, pretty much that. xD I've just poked onto Tumblr a couple times and done searches for "prompt list" or "art prompts" or similar, and browsed what came up. Neopets has a another Neotober challenge posted for this year. I'll try to post it on here later (getting images off social media is tricky). It's one of those 31 days of prompts this time, I liked last year's format better.

Just a sketch today, but here we go! NTWFtober Day 1: Magical Girl AU I decided to go with my very first Mafia OC, Madame Ginz! I didn't really push the magical girl concept very much, so it might be a design I'd like to revisit, but I wanna start small. I have to warm up, getting back into art.

Day 1 of NTWFtober, Magic Girl AU It was suggested to me to draw Mary for this, so I went with that! Not the most elaborate outfit, but I just wanted to have some fun putting Mary in clothes she would most definitely hate x3 (and immediately ripped off after the other characters got a quick picture)
Day 2 of NTWFtober, Mail For some reason the first thing that came to my mind was the mail song from Blue's Clues, so I drew a few characters from it haha. You might be able to tell which characters I spent more time on than others x3 (Not that I dislike any of them! Blues Clues was my favorite show as a kid and I still have fond feelings towards it. I just thought it'd be funnier to draw some of them this way lol) |

As I've mentioned, I'm not posting everything I do for Inktober here on the NTWF, as I plan on going more intense than previous years. The first two, I think they could pass, but I am not 100% sure. Day three, though, this is definitely cool to post here.  Day 3: Dual Wield Depending if you've heard about my D&D escapades, you'd recognize this as Kole, my wood elf rogue. My lovely little lady likes to dual wield weapons if she's able to. I've been working on line of action a lot lately. I like using Kole to practice because 1) I love her and 2) she moves around a lot, so it'd make sense for her to be doing action poses. I did clean this up some digitally because white out does not photograph well. That being said, part of me wants to straight up continue this digitally. |
