The book's not too bad since I like books, but I had to be gifted the stamp, which I feel bad about, and I still need to get the other one.

I... completely forgot about the hide-and-seek portion of this event xD; Ah well, guess I can try it for however many remaining days there are left.
Aside from that, though, I actually had good luck this year's festival, as I managed to get all the prizes I wanted and have been working to get repeats of the most desired items. So far I've just gotten an extra void book, if anyone may want it when this all comes to a close.

There is a way to complete it, in one day even, if there isn't that many days left; though note TNT did say it's not how they intended the activity to be done. However, their wording can also be taken to meaning they won't punish anyone who does it: what they actually said was they didn't want players finishing it early and it's now pass the point where players can "finish it early". However, it's still the unintended way to finish this side feature and TNT's "look the other way" may only be for those who did this before they said anything. So, just a heads-up warning before you decide to do this:
If you want, unless they fixed it, you can actually complete it in one day! Just go to JN for find the pages that's he on, open as many new tabs as "days" you still need to find Topsi, and he'll be on each page. You can then click each one and they'll each count.
I don't think they track the day you find Topsi, I think it's just a countdown tracker. I personally wouldn't blame anyone who did this, it was something only mentioned at the start of the event and nothing else reminds you to do it. If you forgot you're pretty much out of luck which isn't fair, like they should have had Kari go "oh, BTW, did you find Topsi today" after you find the Negg and return to the Festival of Neggs page. Honestly the "Topsi Hide-And-Seek" portion feels really tacked on and not programmed thoroughly (it works, but they didn't expect players to open multiple pages Topsi was on and for each other to count toward the countdown. This feels like something that the page he found on should have been random and each day he only appears on that page; maybe even throw in a "catch-up" mechanic where if you missed a day you can find him on another page for as many times as you missed. Heck, honestly, I would have ditched this whole "find him 10 times" and just made it so each day Topsi appears in a few random pages and each time you find him you get a small award; pretty much do the old Plastic Negg concept). Anyway, today was all sorts of suspicious. The clue mentioning a "creator" whom is male.
Kari mentioning the clues are getting odder when you find the Neggs.
And after claiming your Negg you discover a torn apart Space Faerie plushie.
It seems to be indicating Dr. Sloth... though Dr. Sloth should still be stuck in the Space Faerie Charm. I suppose it could be a Robot Sloth Clone trying to capture the Space Faerie to find her Charm to free its master, though if they're going that route wouldn't mind if we see Commander Garoo instead. Then again, I see Garoo being more straightforward guy, hunting the Space Faerie directly instead of an elaborate plan that seems like a longshot, feels like a plan that would be made by an imperfect clone of an evil genius... |

Yeah... The capitalization of "Creator" is what made me go, "huh?" And... Please tell me there's more to the plot than Topsi is missing his Space Faerie doll and wants another one. Maybe when it ripped open something "possessed" him?? |

The "Creator" comment didn't really register with me being something more than probably another title Sloth would have people refer to him by (the Robot Sloth Clones, Mutant Grundos, etc.). I just thought the same would go with any mind controlled characters as well even if its an odd for them to refer to him that way.
However Topsi being possessed by Neopet V2 does make sense with that comment. I'd also imagine Neopet V2 would hold a grudge against the Space Faerie because he's sealed in her Token. Though then we come to a few major questions. First, if this is Neopet V2 speaking, then did it upload itself into Topsi? Or is this a Topsi robot and the real Topsi was kidnapped (though, thinking about it, if its a Topsi Robot made by Sloth or a Sloth follower than it would use the term creator anyway so wouldn't necessarily have to be controlled by Neopet V2). |
