Emerald league now!
I love that it now prompts you to congratulate your friends for their scores and things when you log in- feels really nice and positive!

Congratulations, Thorn!!
I reached Diamond league, but keep slipping back into Obsidian. xD And that one is super competitive, so if I miss a day, I am going straight down.

Aww dang that sounds intense! I just got back into it recently and my old league was sapphire, so I've only gone up one.
EDIT: Just missed a day by accident whoops. But I had a streak freeze, so hopefully I can catch back up and stay sapphire!
Duo also sent me an email that yesterday marked six years since I started using Duolingo! =-O

Congrats guys! I made it to Amethyst myself. I breezed through some of the easy lessons in Japanese but the difficulty really started to spike with telling time and routines oops.

Nice!
Amethyst is already pretty competitive and I've reached the limit of my retained college Japanese. Which means more mistakes made. I know it's part of the learning process but it's a bit frustrating...

Something I did with Italian was, after I'd been learning it for a while, I also started the 'English for Italian learners' tree. It teaches you different things and helps reinforce what you're learning in the tree you started with. Would it be possible to try something like that with Japanese and a language you already know?

Ooh, that's an interesting idea. Unfortunately the other language I already know is not available on Duolingo (Tagalog) so it'll have to be English. I also made Pearl League, by the skin of my teeth. I was top 10.

Congrats, fellow Pearl! =D I will probably chill out a bit this week, just try and maintain my position in Pearl for now.

Maybe I should be doing Duolingo twice a day. The Diamond League is intense.
I'm already going through my lessons NO NEED TO TELL ME I JUST DROPPED OUT OF THE TOP 25 AAAAA

I feel this. xD I have dropped back to Pearl after spending less time on my Duolingo studies. But Pearl is a pretty colour anyway!

I could just let myself drop especially since I managed to finish at number one already by spending gems to unlock the legendary levels, but I'm too competitive for that, oops.
