Not sure what my plans are going to be for this year. After I donate all my non-r90+ (and some special) items I'm probably going to have enough points and more to purchase all the items in the prize shop. I guess I'll maybe start gambling with the capsule that has a chance (and by that I mean a 1% chance, WHY?!) of getting a r90+ item. After that, don't know, maybe keep my r90+ for until next year. MINI-RANT: Though the capsules REALLY annoy me. Like, just make it so the cheapest one gives r1-79, average gives r80-89, and the highest r90-100. Why are you messing around with percentages? This could have been the compromise we all wanted, just a way for us to exchange points for something similar to the original Charity Corner. But no, you got to ruin it with a stupid mechanic which feels you got off a gacha game! Ugh. We cash in these points just to play a gacha game, you're right. I get enough gacha grief from my mobile games, thanks. |

Well, I got two stamps and the seaglass foreground, I think I'm gonna call it good for this year unless they abruptly make big changes of some kind. I've still got a LOT of items left but there's nothing else I want badly enough to use them all up this year. More stuff for next time I guess.

Sooooo...according to the boards, it seems like they mixed up the rarity of the top and bottom capsules.
The coconut cabana one is giving out r90+ items, and the Aquamarine one is giving out the junk.

Which is annoying. I'm finally finished donating all my non-r90+ items (and other items I don't want to donate) and now I'm sitting on 12,274 points. Yes, I do plan on getting at least one stamp, wearables, books, and the weapon; but that'll still leave me with spare points I was planning on using on the capsules to see what I got (and if what I got was good maybe I'd donate some of my r90+ stuff).
Though since this is a major issue, maybe it'll finally get them to get rid of the percentages and just make them a simple range.

I'm honestly afraid to buy the borked capsules. When you've lost your account once through no fault of yours (aside from, y'know, I should've logged back in to change my password from time to time even though I was no longer active), you get extremely paranoid from here on out.
I need the money and someone got a freaking NEOQUEST PLUSHIE (yes, Kat has her priorities) but IDK. At this point maybe TNT should leave the prize odds alone and let people keep going wild. After all, this IS Charity Corner.

Just realized I still have a bunch of points from a few event prize shops and I remembered how sparse the Curse of Maraqua one was when you were not a battler.
I had enough points to burn on multiple Goregas Keychains. And I'm not yet even done with LDP and TFR.
I finally got the stamp, IDK what my next target will be, maybe one of the wearables.

Finally cleared out my SDB of my daily and BD junk from the last year, and have gotten 30k points.
Less than last year, but the snowball change kinda did that.
No matter though, even if the perk shop was back, that would be enough for a year of boosted interest and cheaper stocks.

If you have one of everything than: - First I'd maybe pick up at least one more Stamp and some more of the books. Everything else isn't consumable (no I'm not counting the food as who's going to feed their Neopet the event food? It's Gallery Fodder) so they'll be sticking around.
- I'd say you might as well gamble on caps if you got points left and have no interest in getting more stamps/books/whatever else. I've heard SOME people getting lucky and getting a r90+ that's worth something, but it's from those "opening 100 tier 1 cap" boards and I've seen just as many of those where they get absolutely nothing.
