If anyone knows the lineup of their team, could they write it out for me? That way I can write a proper summary for those teams. Thank you! <3 Team Blue is me, Kat, Fraze, RielCZ and June Scarlet, and we've all been wandering about in the desert. I've been meaning to do a post, but keep getting distracted. XD I guess I can do that now while I'm still thinking about it, haha.

June Scarlet PFA - Thank you for the clarification! It looks like you both are right. I was reading through the RP and going "wait, are people mixed up, this person isn't a member of the blue team??". But I think what happened is that at some point, I mixed up the green and blue team for different biomes, and that's why it didn't make sense, and then my brain continued to scramble after that. Apologies for the confusion. But thank you! I will now proceed with the summaries. I'll need some time to read them more carefully (Red Team's is done because I've been following that well), but it shouldn't take too long. ^^ Also, aww at Jess' story. It's okay, not-magic magic tricks are good too! But some good suggestions are being brought forth. ^^

It's complete! So to help people catch up and get back into the game as we continue the penultimate rounds, I’ve decided to compile a story summary that bring across the important beats! Let me know if I've made an error or missed something and I'll add it. (Especially if it's for another team!) And let me know if you're behind and if there’s anything further I can do to help. Because RP partners are great. =D Don’t worry, this summary will not contain puzzle spoilers. Summary so far!Part 1, strange weather is a thing! As in it’s so strange meteorologists don’t know what’s happening and one seems to have quit? Then puzzle pieces fell from the sky! One side with part of an image, the other colored in red, green, or blue. The town congregated and everyone realized that the puzzle pieces came together to create an image of a house. Weatherman Ray Nextpected led everyone to the house in question before ditching us all. Part 2, we come across the house in the image! Except it seems to be under an illusion! Everyone takes time picking out pieces that are out of place, and in doing so the illusion falls. Cue an annoyed hotlips plants and plastic flamingo, both of whom are sentient and can talk; surprise! They try to lead the group away by saying they’ve been getting weird weather too and the lady of the house isn’t in right now, but they’re caught in a lie. But they still wouldn’t let us in until we performed a task for them. Specifically, the lady of the house asked for three things, and only if the group got these three things would the group be allowed to enter. It took some time deducing, but finally, the group realized what the things were and acquired them. And so the hotlips plant—Holiday--and the plastic flamingo allowed us to enter the house, both for the help and to escape the egg rain that had occurred. Part 3, upon entering the house, a cat named Mister Snuggles comes up to us, having torn apart the lady’s diary. But the cat divided the group into three—red, green, and blue—based on their puzzle piece backs, and gave each group a cipher. Upon solving the cipher, they concluded that the lady of the house must be in the center of the greenhouse, and they must travel through it to get to her for answers. Each group was given different directions to get there. Each group also got one of the NPCs. The group go their separate ways and enter a greenhouse maze, each with a different climate that very much matches reality! Each group was given a small amount of gear appropriate to each climate. Red Team:Tropical Rainforest Greenhouse(Holiday) Jeff and the Meepits (Huntress) Era Newton (Gelquie) Sherrie (Ginz) David (Moni) Gibi (Twillie) Green Team:Arctic Greenhouse(Mr. Snuggles) Uffnewt Regional Airport (Thundy) Rachel Leewind (Rabbit) Rose (Liou) Agatha the Tea Witch (Celestial) Sparktater Blue Team:Desert Greenhouse(Flamingo) Norma Schoolchild/Princess Sunshine (PFA) Anton Dracula (Fraze) Cassidy Clarion (Kat) Jess (and Taffy) (June Scarlet) Evi (RielCZ) Summaries from here on will be for each group! Red Team SummaryThe red team may or may not don rain ponchos, and they continue straight on at all junctures in this tropical rainforest. (The common options are to turn straight or right. A hint has not been used.)
First, they encounter an impertinent aer spirit name Airin, who has a rivalry with Holiday, and apparently switched Era’s earlier puzzle piece. He refuses passage to the group until they solve a crossword. While the group does this, Era--intrigued--asks for a trick, and gets spun around, but stops when Era reveals that they actually have bad vertigo going on in their life currently, and may cause a mess. Said shenanigans caused the word list to remain steady, allowing the group ample time to solve the puzzle while Era became dizzy. The group solves the puzzle, and they carry on. Era takes a moment to situate themself and in the process they learn that Holiday fits right in in this biome, and also there’s a bathroom at the center and to please wait till they get there if they have to go.
At the next juncture, the group comes across two terracota Chia Pets, each with a head of greenery. One has a greenery moustache, the other has lively greenery eyebrows. They can only speak in ciphers, but seem to take heart in snarking at the group’s expense, before giving the group a ciphered puzzle. Era asked for a repeat so they can get it down, and are currently doing so. Green Team SummaryPurr-eh is very jealous of Mr. Snuggles; how dare there be another cat? She proceeds to be very Tsundere around Mr. Snuggles, who is actually pretty open with Purr-eh. Meanwhile, Aggie and Rose, at least, are very happy at the sight of new cat. =D Rose stays quiet and supportive through it all as they follow along and chat with the other party members.
The team are offered parkas, wraps, and vests. They bundle up (including Mr. Snuggles!) and set out into the arctic greenhouse, which has mostly pine and shrubs and a lot of snow, yet no footsteps before them. In response to the cold, Aggie provides strong black tea, infused with mint and chilli, and the chocolates, to everyone, including the pets. Rose is offended at the cold and having to wear cold gear. This was supposed to be a greenhouse!! But they’re placated by the snacks.
The group goes straight ahead, and they come across two flowering plants half-buried in snow; a Labrador tea plant and a purple saxifrage. They’re arguing over a newspaper Jumble puzzle and whether or nor “Morst” is a word. Then they throw the newspaper at the group, which Aggie is offended by. Rose jokingly pretends to not be able to read, before giving the puzzle to Rachel, given how similar she looks to the weather person depicted in the paper! While the group solved the puzzle, Mr. Snuggles swatted the two plants into silence and performed some playful show of affection for the team. Which Purr-eh… definitely doesn’t enjoy, baka! But Aggie keeps Purr-eh from being pouncy-tsundere. Mr. Snuggles is happy, and merely gives some happy headbutts to Purr-eh when they later continue.
The team solve the puzzle, and the plants… still argue about it. The team carry on to the left while the plants continue to argue. At the next juncture (where they can either go straight or turn right, they come across a snowman, who starts a snowball fight! With score being kept!! And it started with a snowball in Aggie’s face!!! Hoo-long is upset as he was trying to sleep on Aggie’s shoulder, and this woke him up! But Aggie transmutes the tea into steam and magics it into the teapot to start creating another pot of smoky-scented tea. Once done, she puts it into a snowball, and Hoo-long fires the tea-infused snowball into the snowman from above. The snowman had hit one person in the leg and another in the shoulder, but the tea-snowball knocks them down. The snowman gives the tea witch a thumbs up. And that’s where they are. Blue Team SummaryThe group takes time to introduce themselves to each other. Jess the magician with Taffy the guinea pig, Cassidy the healer, Anton the vampire deliveryman with an appreciation for the house’s arcitechture, Evi the photographer who’s kinda skeptical about the motives of the house-beings involved, and Princess Sunshine the magical girl. The team travel to the far shelf and carry on to the desert greenhouse.
The team are offered several large sunhats, a collection of stylish sunglasses, and the thickest, darkest parasol anyone had ever seen (printed with pictures of waterfowl under parasols). The parasol is given to Anton because vampire.
Evi is upset at being split from his girlfriend, but carries on anyway. Princess Sunshine feels that this level of sun isn’t quite what she meant by bringing the sun back. Jess carries Taffy via the top hat and instead wears a sun hat (which somehow is not showing the guinea pig).
At the first intersection (straight or right), Jess asks for directions. Flamingo tells them that the group should go right. A couple in the group seem skeptical after the whole debacle earlier, but they all follow Flamingo’s lead. They follow the road and find themselves in front of a saguaro cactus with a big hole in its side… that moves like a mouth. It murmurs or sings tunelessly, much to the annoyance of Flamingo, before the cactus shouts out a ciphered uncomfortably-loud riddle. Cassidy… asks to repeat the riddle, much to the dismay of Flamingo, who also announces that if he wanted to lead them astray he wouldn’t take them here of all places!! But the group are good about writing down the cipher this time, which takes a very uncomfortably long time.
Finally, they figure out the cipher, Evi figures out the answer, and Princess Sunshine shouts out the answer in cipher. Which turns out to be correct! After some more shouting matches, Flamingo moves them along. Jess asks again for directions, but Flamingo is too annoyed to answer.
They carry along, taking the left path instead of the straight one. The path winds, becoming more humid but staying just as hot… until they come across a dead end. And they realize they have to deal with the saguaro cactus. Again. Argh! They have to backtrack and take the straight path.
As they return, Taffy goes into Jess’ satchel, and Jess places the top hat on top of her sun hat on her head. Flamingo comments on her attire and inquires about her magic tricks. Jess tries to talk around the answers, but the group keeps asking about magic she can do… until Jess relents and reveals that she can’t actually do anything but stage magic. But one day she found a top hat that seemed to magically have Taffy inside, inexplicably. She bought it, and to this day doesn’t know if the magic is from the hat, Taffy, or Jess. But she’s eager to keep practicing, even though she can still only really do the one thing. The others give suggestions, ways to narrow it down, or assurances that she just hasn’t found her specialty, but overall are supportive and state that they like her tricks anyway. This is where the conversation is currently at.

A+ summary! =DD Thanks so much for doing all that work in writing that up, GLQ! ^^
(We got super mixed up about the teams and biomes for a while, too. XD We made up a chart, and our maze map now has all the players listed on it to help. (Figuring out the initial setup was like our own personal puzzle in itself. XD Like, "Okay, so Holiday wants to be in the rainforest biome, and we've already established the entrances, and Mr. Snuggles is the only NPC guide who would be able to jump up and lead people through a roof vent, and we have a vampire on that one team, and should we still have a bad Cat Romance, and what and who goes where, and wait, which color was which cipher again??"))
...Also, the team directions have been chosen, so we're probably on track to post a new narratorpost sometime tomorrow with the next set of maze results. Since we'll still be in the maze, I hope that conversations or current actions wouldn't be too interrupted, but how's everyone feeling?

Thanks so much Gelquie! The team lists are always helpful, no matter how many times I go back to check them, I still end up thinking "ah yes, red means hot desert, blue means cold mountain, green means - wait no I'm in green team, uuuh"

You're welcome! It was good to do and I feel like this is a good way for me to keep up and keep tabs on other groups. ^^
(Oof, that sounds confusing! Kudos to you, GMs, for keeping it all in check! <3 )
I'm feeling alright about progressing, for the most part. My main concern is the lack of RP interactions I'm getting from the Red Team. While Holiday and the other NPCs are great to talk to, besides those, sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself. Or I don't know if I should do another post if another person may or may not respond and be given a chance at doing something, so I'm not sure whether to go forward on actions sometimes. Mind, if people don't wanna post, they don't wanna; totally up to them! Just if anyone from the Red Team wants to get involved but is having trouble, I'm happy to help. Or if you want to post but are intimidated by my posting frequency, just gimme a poke that you wanna do something and I'll hang back for you. ^^ It would help me to know what people are thinking there, though, just so I know how to proceed!
(And if this comes across the wrong way, you can poke me for this too; I don't wanna be That Pestering Person. xD )

I'm gonna try and get a post in tonight Gelquie, and I was about to ask if there's any specific details from Red Team that would be good to note for reactions, but then I got an idea instead to play with missing some things x3 Thanks again for the summary, it's much appreciated!!

Gelquie - on my part, I'm a-okay with whatever pace you want to roleplay at, which is to say, not at all bugged by posting frequency or anything ^^ I keep meaning to make a post but then my brain is all *sad dialup noises* so I flop somewhere between "am mostly in it for the puzzles, puzzles are great" and "should get some of that interaction goodness in" so it's quite possible that I'm at the point where I could use some brainstorming.

Huntress - Fair enough! The puzzles are good in any case. =D No pressure to interact if you don't feel up to it. But if you'd like to get some brainstorming help in, shoot me a PM, or we can take up the Red Team PM. ^^

I'd be fine with Red Team PM brainstorming as well, if we feel the need :3 I know I could gain from it as well!

All the directions are in! Thanks for being on the ball, guys. ^^ There should still be a short while before the next update, though. We'll keep you posted!
Also, teams, feel free to share your past solved puzzles here in the OOC thread, if you want to! Show off your mad puzzling skillz. =O

The post has been delayed due to a family situation on my end, but we are still making steady progress on it and it will hopefully be up today.
