HEy everybody, I MUSTN'T tell you that it was Gelquie who said that a temporary place of tricks and treats - wow, that sounds an awful lot like Trick-or-Treat! - will appear tomorrow! I am NOT telling you nuh-uh. Also on completely unrelated matters, since I asked this on Discord, asking on Bloids just in case: how many ToT housey thread visitors prefer to collect a treat in one post and leave, and how many of you like to linger and chat and/or explore the housey thread?

Excuse me, I don't approve of these reverse psychology insinuations. It was absolutely not me who said that.
I heard it from a little bird.
Re: The question - I'm honestly up for either! In general, I like to linger at least a little while, so it's not just "yay! now what" for me, even if it's just "treat and leave." But really, I like to visit most houses. (And the explore-y ones are always fun.)
(Speaking of, mine may or may not actually be a house. But may involve exploring. You didn't hear it from me. A little cat told me.)

Was it a little cat, or was it a little Kat?

I prefer houses where I can just post a few times (maybe 3-4) and then move on. If a house looks like it requires lots of posting and Big Story with secrets to uncover and stuff, I usually don't get involved, because it ends up taking a lot of time trying to rp through them all. Although it does very much depend on how much time I have and what I feel up for.
My absolute favourite kind of house is the house where you can post a few times to achieve the house's Main Goal (whether that's an actual treat like the cute artz Killix and Twillie have done in past, or a purely in-universe treat like 'you take a candy from the bucket' like I tend to do myself), and then you can leave or explore more depending on what you have time for/feel like doing.

I've finally figured out what I want to do for my house.
It's going to be a little interactive and I'm pretty excited to reveal it to everyone. I AM willing to tell you guys though that it's definitely going to be part lawyer office. The other parts...well, those who've known me since way back in ye olde relic times might be able to guess.

Whew, writing Jess' final move in Gelquie's Trick or Treat House was intense. A real thought puzzle. Hopefully it all comes together.

So I've moved all the ToT stuff to their appropriate graveyard, but never fear, I will still edit my thread with the appropriate conclusion!
(Today is just throwing me for a loop, phew. Not for the common reason; a wrench threw today's schedule out of whack.)

I'm going to miss trick and treating! I had a blast getting so much candy.

*Dusts off hands* Another year of Trick or Treat under my belt!
I'm running out of ideas, I have to admit. XD

Sorry for the delay! I have no good excuse. The Lumen Wood conclusion post is now edited to show the conclusion.

I want to do everything, yet nothing at all. It's a strange feeling, like my motivation is sabotaging itself.

I want to do everything, yet nothing at all. It's a strange feeling, like my motivation is sabotaging itself. I know the feeling. You got your hand on the reactor but it just keeps saying "Waiting for second user..." But Among Us jokes aside, *hugs* good luck! I often feel like than when I want to do something but my brain is waiting for the "right moment" to start, or when I have too many ideas that I get a bit overwhelmed and don't know where to start. *shakes fist at executive dysfunction* I hope your motivation gets back on track, and if not, it's okay to take it easy too! <3

Yeah, it does feel like I'm waiting for that second user... but they never come. and so I sit... and wait... for my demise. I've gotten all of the important things done today, so I think taking it easy might just be the path for me tonight.
