Sometimes the forum won't accept my likes. XD Maybe it's due to my bad connection, because I've had moments where I clicked the button and it liked then immediately unliked the post. Then when I go to like the post again, it doesn't respond. *scratched chin* or maybe this is all due to my busted mouse.
I dunno, I'm just going to logically conclude that the forum is haunted.

That's odd! xD Although yeah, sometimes when I have a bad connection (like if I'm on data and have fuzzy reception), my likes don't get accepted either.

It is October, and thus Halloween coming up! Maybe more things are haunted. =D
...That said, ghosts, stop haunting Killix's mouse. =<
(My likes generally get accepted, unless the page is still loading when I try to click and I'm just being impatient. Or yeah, bad connection. I don't have any other ideas at the moment.)

On a different topic: voting for the Spirit Weeks tiebreaker poll is now open! =D I threw in anything that got 4 votes as well as the two options which got 5, to give a few more options.

So, I'm holding off on posting about it on a thread until a bit closer to the event, but just so people can hear it somewhere...
Trick or Treat!
Is still happening!
(Because the forum was already socially distant!)
Specifically, it will open up on the 23rd for house posting, with the event officially starting on the 24th! (It will close on November 2nd.)
This'll give you about a week to do things, so plan your time and workload accordingly. (You can always go small! If you choose to do a house.)

Yay, ToT \o/ Knowing me, I doubt I'd be able to keep up roleplaying an ambitious house, so I'll probably fall back on the old idea of "every trick or treater gets a drawing from me!" x3 I might put a bit of a twist on it this time, an idea already came to me on how to change it up some >w>

I'm excited to hear, Twillie! ^^
I've already started work on mine! It's a bit ambitious, but it also feels fun to do, so I don't mind too much! It helps that I'm giving myself 12 days to plan it out and finish the parts I can just c/p. May need to do some brainstorming for some of it, though! (I also need to figure out the scope. It'll be fairly sizable, but I don't wanna make it too big. xD )

Sounds exciting, Gelquie! =D And yeah, no big deal so long as you enjoy working on it! I look forward to seeing what the idea is, and in the meantime should pick the perfect victim to go trick-or-treating at everyone else's houses >w> (since I'm debating whether to do a 'sona of myself or use a character haha)

Not sure what I'll do for trick or treat. Probably team up with someone again, that was fun last year.

Trick-or-Treat!! =DD I definitely want to do it this year, I've skipped too many. I've had an idea for what ToT!Lizica has been up to, but I keep flip-flopping on the actual house idea. One idea that won't fully go away is if I had some portals that distribute candy and then transport the visitor to another house, but I'm not sure if that's kind of godmode-y, and I really don't want to intrude on other people or their plans. But on the other hand, if people were okay with it, it could be a kinda fun, cool thing? I dunno? x'D;

Lizica - Hmm, it could be an opt-in thing, perhaps? It could be cool to have a sort of chained-house thing going on, and may get people to visit more houses. You'd tentatively have my permission for my house, though I'd have to explain some details from mine. xD (Which I don't mind! My idea may need peer review anyway. xD (Mine has gotten complicated to the point where I need a chart, oops.)) Would the user be able to ultimately choose where they go, or would the portal choose for them? Particularly for the latter, I think ultimately, house-portalling may have to be an opt-in thing. Maybe you could make a poll for that, to easily see how many houses volunteer.

Gelquie, that's a really good point! Maybe when the event gets closer and more people have figured out houses, I'll do a poll or something for people to opt in if they want? In-universe, I was thinking the portal would choose the location, but in metagame, the visitor or I would probably choose, just so people wouldn't be randomly transported to a house they're actually already in or similar. (To be clear, I'd been thinking that the visitor would just be transported to the beginning of the house (or whatever is the house's natural starting point for a newcomer), not a random spot in the middle, if that helps? But if a house's owner DID want people to show up in a random place in the middle, that could be arranged, too! =o) Looking forward to seeing what your overly complicated house is when the time comes, though! x3

Looks like I'll be teaming up with Rabbit ♠ again this year for a trick or treat house!

*Sneaks in.* *Shuffle shuffle.* *Whisper.*
I heard a rumor recently. That next time the forum is asleep, a strange place will appear. A place that appears once a year, and brings tricks and treats and other things. And it will be there by tomorrow so we can make a home there, and then the day after explore it, for the short time until the place disappears once again.
You didn't hear it from me!
*Shuffle shuffles out.*
