Oh. My. WORD, Moni! Imma comment individually on each in a big spoiler box: Dahlia- Dahlia looks so confident and floofy! I like how you incorporated the little dragon in-joke.
Zoey- Appa has lil heart-danglies, d'aww! And Tony Stark, man, this made me smile so hard. Iron Man would actually make a wonderful magical-girl type character...
Liz- I can fully picture that poofy skirt all in black. I love the collar!
Tabitha- Tabs was magical enough as is, but I love how you incorporated elements of her Victorian design to make something new. It's classy, like her!
Virga- I have never seen Virga in anything other than her adventuring outfit- she's so kyooot! <3 Very classic Magical Girl look, I can only assume she has lots of cool sparkly water-based powers.
Shad- the little star on his tail is a nice touch! He looks suitably unimpressed, but he looks amazing!!! Love the little ribbons on his ears.
Ron- I love the way the coat (?) sort of billows out around her classic Magical Girl Skirt!
Tracy- I think this is my fave of the lot! Her pose, outfit and expression all remind me of a statue- Britannia, or the Statue of Liberty, or any depiction of Athena ever!
Jun- my dear nemesis. <3 Love that lil bit of frill!

Moni, oh my gosh, those are all amazing! You managed to make every single sketch and costume unique and fitting of the characters. <3 Plus the fact that you did everyone is just...aah!! You did a great job!
I really do love Tabitha especially (no bias there). You managed to make her look super classy. I love the floating crown especially, that is very fitting. Probably my second-favourite besides that is Liz for how well you incorporated motifs from Mary into her costume while looking magical-girl-y.

I'm glad all you guys liked it! x) Thank you for all your detailed feedback on all the sketches! >> Tony Stark was definitely my favorite one to draw, because... just... okay, listen, the whole heart-thing-idea was TOO GOOD to pass up. it's like the perfect magical girl motif! haha. BUT ANYWAY, since I have to be 100% early on everything, it's April 24th in this grand EST time zone, which means you're allowed to post your art now! (but also... don't fret, you have until the specified deadline date+time in the first post to be finished... which is like, roughly a week.) My secret magical girl was for Liou! Rabbit ♠ -- OMG THAT'S SO AMAZING!!  I can't believe I never thought of pairing Khamet the magical boi with Appa the magical flying bison girl! They work so perfectly together, and the coloring/shading is absolutely exquisite. I love the lavender, and I love the designs, too; the Aladdin theme pairs really, really well! Rabbit, you are such a genius! And the icing on the cake is Khamet's pose and expression, my god that is so perfect. Literally I can see them flying over ALL OF THE LANDS, spilling sparkles over everyone below, and Khamet directing Appa to land wherever his magical services are needed. Moni can Khamet's magical flying bison be canon? Does it work???  (Also, dang, Moni, that foreshortening is awesome!) Thank you so much, Rabbit! This is just too amazing, I've gotta save it. (Also all of the magical girls that end up being posted here should be part of a team. Jus' sayin'). I got Ginz ❤ ! I uh, inadvertently created a halfling-sized library?:

OH. MH. GOD. Zoey!!! I love love love love love LOVE your painting of Dahlia, she looks so cool!! I love how you took inspiration from her actual outfit but completely magicgirlified it!! It looks AMAZING!! Her weapon is so perfect and awesome, it takes being whacked with a heavy book to a whole new level!! XD So many lovely details in this piece! I put each character in their own layer, and thought I'd go ahead and post them individually without the effects. This was a lot of fun to do, and everyone's is great so far!

Oh my gossshhh, you guys, I'm in love, I've been quietly squealing on and off all day long over these drawings, they are amazing! 8D The designs are perfect, and there's so much energy and excitement and gorgeous sparkles in these. I can't even. <333 Here's one for you, Huntress ! I hope you like it! ^^  I originally went into this event expecting to draw a bright, sparkly thing, but somehow ended up with this shady-looking thing that makes Magical Girl Ene look like someone the anime protagonist would consistently see out of the corner of their eye at the scene of the crime and think she's the villain--until 30 episodes in when they're fighting the actual Big Bad, and it turns out that Ene has been secretly aiding the protagonist from the shadows the entire time. ...Or something. xP Don't mess with Ene even if she's on your side, hypothetical protagonist! ((Her magic staff is loosely based on the idea of the Melville Wall sort of split in two, plus fire within.)) |

Twillie Oh my gosh, Tabitha looks so fabulous! The pose, the colour scheme, the details, holy crap, I am in love. <3 The pose is really dynamic and you managed to make her look ready for action along with her umbrella. I am biased but I adore purple and all the flowy purple fabric is really visually striking. Not to mention that you managed to make the flows look natural (your lines are always so clean so it's not surprising) Finally, wow, so many frills and lace and aah, it must have taken you so long. But it all suits her so well. It has a lovely Victorian elegance while still being fully magical girl. It is fantastic and words cannot describe how much I love it. <3
