Evyrio is now Zombie. I feel like there's a comic joke in there somewhere.
Interesting thing to note, he is wearing the same clothing items I put on him from before the portals. He was changed into mutant first, so those clothes were taken off. I assumed they went back into the closet, but I'm not sure, since I didn't check. I didn't think the clothes would come back on automatically.
Also, I didn't get the Zombie clothes, but I kind of expected that because TNT says all of this is temporary.

It appears the event has ended and all the "negative" events have been cleaned up. Not only the illnesses and point loses, but also the colorations, which is interesting, since I have a special side account that is only there for adopting abandoned pets, zapping them into something nice, and putting them UFA, with a nice petpet and a lot of ability points etc.
When the event came to an end, I was working on a second adopted pet. The first one became Mutant from a portal and since it had several levels, I put it out for adoption, and it was quickly taken up. When I hit the "I'm Sorry" button, the current Lab Rat lost its speckled color and out of curiosity, I looked up the previous Lab Rat. It's no longer Mutant.
I wonder what the new owner will think when they check in on their Mutant pet and find that after about 5 days, it suddenly changed to Red (which was the original color)?

Even the Cheese Omelette that went missing was returned to my inventory. They really did set everything back right.

So everything was undone, which is both good and sad. Good due to the stat decreases, sad for those who wanted to keep some of the Colour changes.
So, now I have a Red Xweetok. Before I put her back in the Pound I do want to pretty her up. I still have several of the Charity Corner boons like Limited Edition (converts a Neopet into a Limited Edition species) and Colour It Wild! (paint a Neopet a random Lab Ray Colour). Her name is Nininha_12343, which isn't that bad of a name. Heck, I have enough NP, I'd even be willing to buy a Morphing Potion/PB from the Shop Wizard. Anyone have suggestions?

Given how poorly named - by PC standards - she is, I'd recommend going for something splashy like a Draik or a chocolate pet etc... Something that'll make people overlook the name.

I see the new owner re-mutated the pet. Good for them.

So... there's been a follow-up to this event. As we all know, by the end of it event Magon's research was ended, had to turn over his notes to King Hagan, and got accused of "mishandling research" and "prolonging studies with poor results". Now they released a Neopedia article about Magon's trial with the Committee Against the Misuse of Educational Resources. And honestly we might as well have been told nothing for all that was written. We're given 3 paragraphs of fluff at the beginning, we're simply told that Magon and the Committee had a back and forth, little dialogue we do get is uninteresting, and the punishment given is minor yet is treated like it's the worst thing ever. Going into that last point. After having created portals all over Neopia which caused random effects, mainly negative, when going through them in an attempt to manipulate time, something you don't want to mess with, all Magon was given was two years of community service. He's to teach "simple-minded" citizens beginner courses in science and they're to pass a test made by King Hagan. So, yeah, overall he got off pretty easy after almost causing a world wide catastrophe. It doesn't even sound like he's under arrest of any kind, he just has to show up to the classes on schedule to teach a few hours, otherwise he's free to do whatever he wants (now the committee was cut off from what they were going to say he could do, but it sounds like its in relation to teaching style rather then any restraints to his punishment). But Magon treats this as if he was told he'd be sent to jail for life. He even mutters about running away! Come on, really? Sure, it sucks your research got canned (though for good reason), but as I said you're getting off VERY easy here. Heck, his biggest complaint about this is that he could spend the time studying and doing research... which he could do anyway. It's not like he's teaching rocket science, it's just beginner science courses. It should take no time to come up with a lesson plan and use whatever free time you have between doing that and teaching to do some side research. And it's only for TWO years. You want to completely throw away your entire career by running away from this minor and short of a punishment? Honestly they can just stop here with this story. I don't care what happens to Magon, he's proven himself to be incompetent and now worse, a full blown idiot.

I don't care what happens to Magon, he's proven himself to be incompetent and now worse, a full blown idiot. We haven't met these "simple-minded" citizens. What if he has reason to believe they'll, accidentally or otherwise, fail King Hagan's test regardless of how well he teaches? Maybe King Hagan's idea of an "easy" test is not easy to the rest of the populace and it would take more than two years to cover the material sufficiently? I have to imagine the Brightvale guards would likely act as enforcers to ensure he's not doing anything stupid on his own time and take him to the lessons if need be, so he's not totally free. As an example, I doubt he'd be allowed to leave Brightvale.
They should have expanded on that a bit more instead of describing the sentencing room in excruciating detail. Is Magon just a self-important brat trying to get out of relatively mundane community service because he thinks it's beneath him? Or is something else going on? At this point, though, if they revealed something like that, it would kinda feel cheap imo. Like they were fixing a plot hole rather than revealing the totally for real truth they had in mind the whole time.
As an aside, I actually found the idea of Brightvale sentencing wayward academics to - gasp - teaching pretty hilarious. Gotta keep up appearances as the smartest realm in the land. I've been imagining that he's expected to teach them about the physics behind time.
