Requests are currently CLOSED. My little brother ended up burning through some of my watercolor paper, too, so there's not as many left as I thought there would be. It's okay, though, I'm sure I'll have another batch of paper to burn soon! Or maybe I'll do fun and quick ink and wash doodles... either way, I'm going to finish up everyone on the current list and close this up! Thanks, all! Wait List:1. Twillie 2. Moni 3. Huntress 4. Fraze 5. Celestial 6. Killix 7. CrimsonShroud

Oooh, your paintings are always a treat! =D I think I'll go ahead and be one to make a request, and lol yeah no worries on whenever it gets done! If you're interested, I have this lovely lady, Bloody Mary! Subject: Bloody Mary (refs above) Background: Perhaps in a forest at sunset or night (basically, when it's dark and there are less people around) Other Notes: Mary has a very curious personality, and as she's blind, does a lot of sniffing around and listening as she navigates her surroundings. She's also very cautious, however, so often moves around with careful stalking. But yeah, she's a character I used in a past NTWF roleplay, Wrighton, although I've had the design since I think 2011 now, so it's one that's stuck with and grown on me in that time. AKA, I'm always very curious to see how others draw her after being the only one to do so for so long xD Thanks for taking requests again, I'm excited to see what all you get and how they each turn out! =D

EXCUSE ME HI ZOEY I LOVE YOUR ART I WANT SUBJECT: Lissandre (will update with references), probably in some other mood than "perpetual smirk." If you don't want to draw Lissandre, then probably her final form will be cool too. BACKROUND: idk probabably like a sunny plain in brightvale, with some fall trees. I dunno, I say autumn because she's blueish so a warm background would be nice. Other notes: (murderwoman reference somewhere in there. maybe she left her weapons in a bush, lol. cie/biscuit is equally acceptable, with a frying pan or a sword of reif. hmmmm.)

Twillie - I've never seen her up until now, but I like her design! I'll have to sketch up some ideas (at work huehuehue) and see what I come up with... I haven't done anything haunt-y with my paints yet, so this'll be fun! Moni - Gotcha, Not Jeran it is! Hmm... what city to choose for Brightvale inspiration... (I actually don't think I ever had a Sword of Reif... Biscuit has a Wand of the Dark Faerie now, ironically. XD Cie's frying pan is always a good go-to, but the idea of putting in a murderwoman reference also makes me laugh, too. XD "oh look, someone haphazardly just dropped some high-powered pistols in the bushes, lemme just-- *CHIA POLICE BURSTS IN AND NOPES THEM OUT OF THE NEO-DIMENSION*")

Zoey I mean if you want to include Jeran, go ahead, though I'm not sure they would be doing anything than glaring at each other. Lissandre has better glaring-skills. A totally inexplicable detail would be a trace of murderwoman inside a frying pan.

=D! *pounces* *always kinda kicked herself for missing your last set of requests, because I can't do landscapes to save my life and there's one specific setting I always wanted to see on paper* The specific setting being the Boss and Kathleen visiting the homeworld of Kathleen's alien ancestor. Subject: these two: The Boss (eternally exasperated, wears a reasonable suit, secretly a very old alien): although let's be fair, he was always based on the Twelfth Doctor and may or may not actually be the Doctor, that was something I always refused to establish fully: And Kathleen (perky redhead reporter): but they're pretty much secondary to the actual Background: Nera, a planet I described as mountainous with deep valleys and fjords, covered with coniferous forests, with mountains much taller than those on Earth. Which was essentially a bit of a spoof of every alien world ever seen on Stargate, which always looked like the Pacific Northwest. So basically, Vancouver crossed with the Himalayas and the latter scaled up a good bunch. Other Notes: I never fleshed that world out very much or did anything with it in-story, but now that I think about it, it stands to reason that it'd have megafauna. Less of a request, more of a "should you feel that the scene needs a little something extra, feel free to throw in something like a few Quetzalcoatlus in the distance; they looked like twisted alien dragonbirds anyway". thank you for being awesome =D

Rounding out with another Wrighton-related request, I'd love to get a landscape (shipscape?) of the Command Center of the alien spaceship/intergalactic hippie van, the RETON. You'd think I wouldn't have photo references for a spaceship, BUT I TOTALLY DO. Behold, Tallinn's Seaplane Harbor Museum. (You can walk around a bit, and there are a few more photospheres on the ground level. There are also some taken from inside the submarine that you're standing on in that link, but that's not too useful here.) Basically: Giant space, big arching ceilings with fans on top to circulate the air, walkways on multiple levels around the edges of the space and crisscrossing from one side to the other. The Command Center would be better lit and less blue-ish than those photos. It's a sort of inside-out office building, with several stories of offices around the walls that can all look down into the Center. On the ground level there's also a large, deep pool on one end (with more working spaces for all those aquatic aliens), and in the very center is something like the bridge of the USS Enterprise: a semicircle of workstations, all looking onto a big ol' spherical display of pertinent ship information. Around the rest of the center are other work areas, pathways, and probably a cafe or something for people to grab a quick bite while working. That's probably a lot of detail and if you can't fit everything in, that's fine. I'm imagining a view from above (maybe on a walkway near a wall), looking out over the space. If you want to put in a few vaguely human shapes for that "tiny figure in enormous space" aesthetic then that would be awesome, but if it's simpler to leave it as a pure landscape then that works just as well. And thank you!

Huntress - I LOVE the idea of massive quetzalcoatlus just roaming around like the porgs in Star Wars. XD Also I am so down for creating other planets! Oh man, gigantic trees... that trip to Portland is going to come in handy. I'll see what I can sketch up! I like your sulky-looking Totally-Not-the-Twelfth-Doctor, too. Snazzy chap! And his Totally-Not-Doctor-Companion, too. Fraze - A+ for that interactive Google map reference; I'm going to have a ton of fun with this one as well. No worries, I'll try to get it all in there (or just give up and re-compose it halfway through painting XD); I like the challenge. >=D I might have to steal some of these ship ideas for my own world-building... it has been like five years and I knew I wanted hyperspace ships somewhere in there but I never thought too much about the interiors. I had no idea Google also did this as well for building interiors; I'll have to make use of it!

I kept meaning to request something from you because your art is lovely but due to travelling and not having adequate references, but now I have mitigated those things so here I am. I have had a really concrete idea of something for a while but I suck at landscapes, so instead of just practising, like any good artist should, I thought I'd let you do the work. =P Basically, I want you to draw something for one of my DnD characters. Subject: This thing.. That's a swan Aarakockra, the race which my character belongs to, in the water (for all intents and purposes, looks like a regular mute swan above water, just much larger (body is about 4.5 foot long, neck is 4 foot) with glimpses of extra limbs sometimes. If you like, you can draw the swan with its wings spread and showing off the arm in this pose. Just to make the setting clearly fantasy. Background: This is where it gets a bit elaborate and specific. I imagine her homeland as basically Crater Lake, Oregon but smaller (so the rim would obviously be more curved) and the island in the centre being smaller, flatter and covered instead with grasses instead of trees. On the lake there could be a few more swan creatures swimming about, or a few in the air (they would look like flying mute swans, just with longer legs and maybe visible arms hanging down) Beyond the crater rim, could you maybe make a few more volcanic peaks poking out, though they should not be much taller than the crater lake so you should not see it. Beyond those, very sharp, steep mountains (think the Matterhorn, or this), surrounded by clouds of all shapes and sizes- wispy, clumpy, basically anything that is fun to draw, as long as there is a good mixture of clouds and blue sky. Even can make storm clouds if that's how you feel. =D Additional info: Could you do this in portrait, since it is a very vertical scene? And could the portion with the lake not take up more than half the page? xD; I know I am being very nitpicky but I want to emphasise the sheer enormousness and height of everything in the picture.

By some miracle I woke up at 8:30 today (haha, who am I kidding, it's because I have errands to run) and got some nice sunlight to photograph a larger and prettier version of the painting I showed you on Discord, Twillie: (Gotta run off now, but I'll respond and fit your request in as soon as I get back, Celes!)

Back and OH MAN SPAIN GOT KNOCKED OUT while I was preparing lunch for the family, god this World Cup is CRAZY-- Anyway, Celestial, that sounds like a super fun prompt! I giggled at the image of the swan suddenly lifting its wings back and BAM MEGA BUFF ARMS UNDERNEATH, TOTALLY DIDN'T EXPECT THAT, DID YOU, ADVENTURERS? (But I think it being a massive swan in general is surprising enough, too XD) No worries, I'll do my best to accommodate everything you requested while keeping the composition aesthetically pleasing! (I love Crater Lake, btw, it's especially pretty at dusk )

Finished Moni 's Lissandre (sorry about the dress color; it was originally green, I swear, it just turned more blue when all the other colors were put in place D:). Tried to find the sunniest old English village reference photo for Brightvale; it was not easy, LOL!: Also if anyone is curious, I took some haphazard progress photos to show the process: First there's the composition/value sketch. This is actually Hunty's request, because all of the ones I did for Moni's are jumbled and only make sense to me: Then I tape down the paper and do a very bare-bones outline (I also felt pretty genius this time and realized my watercolor board can handle TWO paintings at once ): And then comes a very iterative process of putting down watercolor washes and letting it dry: And finally, since gouache is opaque watercolor, I can use it to go from light to dark or dark to light, unlike regular watercolor that can only go from light to dark. Regular watercolor and gouache both have their own advantages, but I usually like to use gouache only to "fix" my screw-ups at the end:

Sunny... English.. village? Does not compute tbh.
Still, it looks really awesome! I said this before I think but you did a great job unifying all the colors together--even if the dress did turn out to be more blue than green! I like the great contrast between the warm+ cool colors and how you handled the shadows. Looks really like a normal Brightvalian Street without their strange addiction to stained-glass windows!
And Cie+Biscuit in the background there... A+. Lissandre seems to have taken notice of them--probably because they will be soon having FUN ADVENTURES in Brightvale!

Ssoo I've finally decided what I want to ask for... if you're still taking requests, of course. I understand that I am super late. XD Subject: Cactus Zevisi reference 1, reference 2Setting: A tropical forest, full of the usual jungle-y flora, but with emphasis on various tropical cacti and succulents. Additional Instructions: I'd like a calm scene, something relaxing. Maybe she's enjoying a sunbeam, or watching some koi in a pond?

RIGHT, I have never heard of the locals praising England's bright sunny days. XD I'm surprised such photos even existed. I'm glad you like it! Yes, I think Cie and Biscuit are taking a hiatus from ripping up Altador and trekking the Neopian lands. Possibly to find their next spot to terrorize, who knows; I'm sure Jeran will be a huge fan of them (not). Or at least, it looks to be based off deer. Either way, super cute! I'm looking forward to bringing her to life.
