Apparently I've never played Dungeon Dash before. I keep having issues in the Destruct-o-Match level where the spawn pattern of the blocks causes me to miss picking up the hat tool (which is basically insta-loss). I'm getting close to 3000 on most attempts though, so I'll probably try for AAA's score. You can use the shovel to break blocks if the hat ends up in a bad spot. Also guys, use the keyboard controls. I had to replay 3 times because the toolbar is over the "Restart Game" button, so when I'd eventually die, I'd be spam clicking my tools and then hit restart game as soon as it switched, meaning I couldn't send my score.

what themeguy said. AAA gets 1000 points per level, abigail gets 800 per level.
I'll be honest, this was the one I was dreading, because the final level in this is brutal. but a score of 3000 is EASYTOWN.

Man, I haven't played Dungeon Dash since you needed to score 5000 points to beat the 2nd Daily Dare.
Bad times there....

I'm curious as to why AAA choose Dungeon Dash, seeing as that particular game should have brought him and Abi some bad memories from the past as it involved King Roothless, to an extent.

AAA has spent a good bit of time sneaking around Roothless's apartments/throne room/sleeping throne room(?) just to stop the guy from getting his beauty sleep, and if that's not spite... Maybe that whole experience was therapeutic for AAA, and maybe he's calling back Dungeon Dash because now he can. ;w; (Or maybe JS just saw a game with Abi and AAA in it and found it very fitting for the occasion. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

what themeguy said. AAA gets 1000 points per level, abigail gets 800 per level. Thanks for this! I hadn't realised the two characters earned points differently, and had just been selecting Abi every time. Once I chose AAA instead I got his score first try

I might be in the minority here, but I love Nova Defender.
I'm not good at it in the slightest, but I still love it.

*checks today's game*
*recognizes Nova Defender as that other inexplicably metal game where you just barrel through spamming fire in all directions until you go down in flames*
*disables the cutesy music and sets up a Dragonforce playlist in another tab*
*I AM BECOME DEATH*
Don't get me wrong, I can still only barely get Abigail's score xD But at least I'm having loads of fun along the way, unlike with some games I could mention ahemzurroballahem.

I remember the last time I played this game for DD was in 2001. I'd worked tirelessly to get AAA's score for the harder games, and misread the score that he had for Nova defender. I did my best but it was simply impossible for me to reach that 800k score of his and I ended up screwing myself into the participant tier.
Today I made sure I understood what his score actually was, and redeemed myself. Redeeming myself may or may not have had to do with the fact that this score is only like a 3rd or so of the one I'd failed in the past, but still, redemption.
Anyway, as for advice, I played on hard mode. I only made it to level 3, but that ends up being all you really need for the AAA score. Level 1 is easy to survive, you should sit near the bottom corner and let the enemies come to you, and die higher up. There's other positions you can take but basically, when you collect gems in rapid succession, you'll earn bonus points, and you'll want to abuse that as much as you can in round 1 where it's easy. Keep an eye on the enemy counter and make sure you collect the remaining gems before defeating the best enemy.
Level 2 will probably kill you the first time, just try to stay alive long enough to get the gems to buy the triple shot, then head back into the fray and show them who's boss.
Then just survive as long as possible in level 3. I died twice here but I'd ended up getting enough points for AAA by then. If you manage to make it past level 3 then you'll definitely be fine for the score.

When I made it to level 7 with all three lives left, I knew I would get AAA's score. \o/ It took multiple tries, but I did it.
Do not forget the shield. I didn't know about the shield when I was first practicing and it is a lifesaver. Also, when the shield is up, you can ram into enemies and collect their gems. It makes it easier to collect them. (You could technically do this without your shield up, but since that causes damage, I do not recommend.)

hard mode gives you the AAA score by level 3, Normal gives the AAA score by level 4/5, and Easy modo gives the ABIGAIL score by level 8.

Bleh. I can get TO level 3 on hard, but can't quite manage AAA's score, so far. Same on normal. I can get TO level 4 or 5, but not enough to beat him.

The thing that pushed me over the AAA score was getting bigger gem bonuses. On levels 1 and 2 if you let the max number of novas spawn and fly in circles to corral them, then shoot them all from below, you can get a ton of gems in rapid succession and this boosts your score. Rinse/repeat (while watching your enemy count to make sure you don't go over by accident and leave a bunch of gems uncollected.) This way I didn't have to actually beat level 3. Much trickier on level 2 than on level 1 obviously, but if you practice a little it should work.
