I just realized that this is the first Lulu adventure in a while where she isn't robbing people blind.

I now have two new games I want to strangle... Zurro Ball I still can't even get Abigail's score, and Kou-Jong is quite annoying at times... Got to the point where I had the last two matches right on top of each other in round one on hard.

Moon Rock Rampage, if a little dated, honestly would be pretty fun if it weren't for the fact that the enemies can spawn at the most inopportune moments... Shouldn't there be code that ensures that they don't spawn within a certain distance of the player, much less on top of the player?

Got to the point where I had the last two matches right on top of each other in round one on hard. Play on medium. It's a lot easier to get the time bonus that way

Shouldn't there be code that ensures that they don't spawn within a certain distance of the player, much less on top of the player? Agreed. I'm of the opinion that it's all well and good if they spawn on you when you're farming for points - calculated risks and all that - but they shouldn't be able to spawn on you when you first start the level. That's just stupid.

Also would have been nice if there was a "Restart Level" option. At one point I trapped myself by accident and had to sit back and twiddle my thumbs for forty seconds so the clock would run out and I could start the level over. =_=

Today's Daily Dare is Pterattack. Strategy to get 1k requires a bit of luck. Pretty much you want to try and get the red/fireball power-ups because its third and fourth level is overpowered. The general strategy other than that is to stay on one side of the screen and hold down the space bar to keep firing (there's no reason to never not be firing). Now for the first two levels you can try flying left and right to get as many Pterodactyl as you can in hopes of getting the red/fireball fully powered-up early, just be careful as not only do some Pterodactyl take multiple hits but there's also the Grarrl. Good luck!

Yeah, my strategy for Pterattack is basically:
- aim for the red powerups - hold the spacebar down the entire time - navigate just enough to avoid the Grarrl and any unnecessary powerups, and to collect more red powerups, your weapon will clear the way ahead of you - reach level 4 of the red powerup and then BARREL THROUGH IN A BLAZE OF GLORY until you die. - bam, 1000+ points.
I also like the purple powerup for the damage it deals, but the red one is more suited for just mowing through for as long as you can Mad Max style. And whenever possible, I take the Grarrl out as soon as it appears, because it tends to linger on the screen for a bit too long and boxes you in with the enemies. So my usual movement pattern is "stay around the lower-middle of the screen, dip down to the bottom edge when the Grarrl appears, take him out and go back up". It may seem intuitive to stay as close to the bottom as you can to have time to fire at the enemies, but then you won't have as much navigation space when a piddly blue powerup appears right under your nose, and you're screwed as soon as the Grarrl wants to join the party again.

How to make this game more fun to play: Play Kirby's Gourmet Race while playing this. (Just trust me on this.) (I am learning that that is making things a lot more fun for me.)
Anyway, it took a couple rounds of bad starts, but I got it. I got three fireball power ups before level two and the final one on level two, so I was set from the beginning.

Whenever I play music over the game I try to match themes. Like I would personally play a version of StarFox's Corneria ( I'd choose the Brawl version specifically) as it's also a flying shooter so, in theory, the music matches with the idea of flying through dangerous airspace while blasting down enemies (Corneria specifically is one that's done while flying through a city, so it also has the space connotations removed).

Ahhh...Just as I was enjoying level 4 of the red power-up, I ran straight into a green one and died. -__- Oh, well, at least I got over 1000 by then! ^^ Also would have been nice if there was a "Restart Level" option. At one point I trapped myself by accident and had to sit back and twiddle my thumbs for forty seconds so the clock would run out and I could start the level over. =_= Omg, I did that too!

Oh my goodness. I FINALLY got Abigail's score on Zurroball. Someone suggested zooming in, so I zoomed in to 300%, and after a couple of tries, I finally got 54 points. I mean... woah? 54? My high prior to the zooming in strategy was 12.

Apparently I've never played Dungeon Dash before. I keep having issues in the Destruct-o-Match level where the spawn pattern of the blocks causes me to miss picking up the hat tool (which is basically insta-loss). I'm getting close to 3000 on most attempts though, so I'll probably try for AAA's score.
