The cap was a false alarm - the guy saying it just had his donation count lag. Multiple people are now beyond 7800.

Right now, I have 2008 items in my inventory, and I haven't even reached my fishing junk yet.

I think it says something that I got all of these points from jellies, omelettes, and one starter paint brush (I wanted to see if I could actually donate it).

I think it is funny that Granny will thank you even as you hand her five gross foods or dungs or whatever. Someone do a comic of that. I am sure you can think of something funny that involves some items. What in the world can we use this thing for?
Granny says: You've truly made a difference and your magnanimity has not gone unnoticed.
Granny thinks: You've made a difference all right, no one could miss what you just donated cause it stinks so bad!

Also, re: the whole petpet meat pie thing:
SACRIFICE THE LITTLE ANIMALS. Mostly because it allows me to chant "sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice!" within a proper context.

I have to admit, I find it oddly humorous that we can donate pretty much anything. Also: Items: 4,926 | Qty: 13,976. My time has come.
If anyone wants to do a comic collab with me, I thought of a single panel that pokes fun at this. xP

I'm actually glad they quickly got rid of an exploit that would have given players infinite points (granted, it would be only 1 point for each item, but still). Yes, I'm talking about the General Store as those items are relatively cheap and at a fixed price (so those with plenty of np can spend away), plus the General Store, unlike other shops, does not restock. |

Something I found out that I'll share for everyone else here. Those useless Battlecards that you always see in user shops that are like, 50 np?
You can donate those. And they're worth 4 points each.
Except for plain Capara.
That's more than the rares donations and almost as much as r90+ |

So after clearing my SDB I have 20,376 points. Not bad, though I don't think I'll be reaching that many points again from just buying items. Still, I'll try. Started now, no reason to stop.

Also, it looks like one needs to refresh the site to get the donations to count.
