So here we are! Spirit Weeks shall commence on the 10th of April with the first of our five themes- 'Fictional Creatures.' This theme will be replaced by another on the 14th of April, BST (the exact time of day cannot be confirmed, as I will be just getting back into the country that day.) You can participate in as many or as few themes as you like! I'll also be opening up a photo booth for people to post lovely screenshots of their prettily dressed profiles. =D
For 'Fictional Creatures', the examples of Neopets and Pokemon were offered when the theme was nominated. But don't feel limited to this- while Pokemon are amazing and I'm definitely considering a few myself, fictional creatures of all kinds are totally valid!

Thanks Lizica! <3 I remember 'Impersonate a Forumer', it was probably my absolute favourite theme from Spirit Weeks- I traded profile stuffs with Sporty!
Anyway, I've saved these themes. =) Lots of really great ones!

I second Lizica's Brooms suggestion, that sounds like it could be fun. XDD
Could also go with~
Pets (as in your IRL pets, or if you don't have one, an animal you'd like as a pet.)

As a twist on "impersonate a forumer" maybe "a character belonging to another forumer"

I adore the 'Brooms' idea, but I feel it could be made more inclusive for those who don't take part in the forum roleplays. Maybe 'Breakout characters' or something like that? I'll play around a bit with the wording!
The 'Personal interests' suggestion is really cool and unique, GLQ! I'll keep thinking about what wording gets that idea across most clearly.
Anyway, all Shinko and Gelquie's suggestions have been added to the list. Getting quite a few now, hooray!

I'd be very tempted to do gray, but I think I'm obliged to do red because of my username. You could also call the theme name Monochromatic.

...or cyan...
...or fuchsia...
...or any color, really...
(It'll be hard for me to decide if monochromatic ends up becoming the theme...)

If we chose colors based off our username colors only, all our choices would be really limited and then only so many people could participate uniquely. Same with monochromaticism only. xD So yeah, I assume a Colors theme would allow anything in the spectrum.
Don't choose brorange.
