I need job searching advice! What's something I absolutely should do in my applications? Write your name! If you don't, somebody with an ugly hairstyle might take the job! I wanna feel loved. How can I?

Get a teddy bear, name it "loved," and cuddle with it. You'll literally be feeling loved!

I love heavy blankets, but they're too warm for summer. How do I handle this problem?

Blast your air conditioning at it's highest setting nonstop! It'd be wrong for summer to rob you of the joy of warm blankets!

I'm so excited, I just can't hide it! What should I do??

Obviously you should share the excitement! And people who need the most excitement are the most downtrodden and stressed. So shine your excitement and make your way to the nearest court in session; the more at stake the better!
My home is so noisy right now, but I don't have any reason to be anywhere else, and noise-cancelling headphones only do so much. What can I do?

Wrap your house in saran wrap! Eventually you'll be able to muffle out all the annoying sounds that trouble your day.
I'm too lazy to play any AC games. How can I motivate myself to play?

Set a rule for your self: No AC, no AC! No Altador Cup games, no air conditioning, that is.

I got a CD from the library, but I have no CD player, and the DVD/TV is being used right now. What do I do?

Without any way to read it with equipment at the current moment, you'll just have to rely on the old fashioned way! CDs and DVDs are read using optics; it measures the reflection and refraction from a laser and converts this to code. With this information, you can engineer the process yourself! Grab a laser pointer and point it at the shiny end of the CD. Make sure the laser reflects into your computer's camera so it can read the laser changes and convert this into data for you, which can be read and interpreted from there.

I want to do a short science project, but I also want to make dinner and play video games and look for jobs, and I only have so many hours in a day. How do I do it all?

The science project in question should center around the invention of the world's first (That we know of) time machine. You will need to dedicate many years into the study of temporal science, filled with sleepless nights and frozen dinners, along with many ups and downs. But with great determination, you will eventually triumph and become a world-renowned, Nobel Peace Prize winning scientist celebrated for centuries to come. ...which isn't exactly a "short science project." But it will be once the time machine is operational and you use it to get back all those spent hours. Then you'll have all the time in the world for video games! (Time paradoxes? Split-timelines? Eh, I'm sure it'll be fine)

Oh! I know a great phone app for that! It's super user-friendly with a very intuitive design. I think Zack Morrison even drew an illustration of the app in use once: Here's an obligatory plug because Paranatural is awesomeSo yeah! Five stars! Really recommended. =D Look up "If It's A Real Quality Newfangled Smartphone, It'll Be Built To Withstand Your Attacks" in the app store! -- I think the card reader in my camera is broken. How can I fix it?

It's so hot now! How can I cool off and remain fabulous?
|

|
Post by Gelquie on Jun 22, 2022 18:29:33 GMT -5
There's this concept called evaporative cooling. Basically, when moisture evaporates from a surface, it requires taking in energy from the air or your skin in order to complete the phase change, thus reducing the surrounding temperature as it evaporates. Thus, you will cool off. You should apply this concept! But you shouldn't waste water either, especially if you're in a drought area or if you're strapped for money on water utilities. So make your own water to evaporate! Go for a run to produce extra sweat to evaporate off. Be sure to strip naked for sweat's maximum exposure to the air. Everyone will think of you as audacious, which is is a pretty fabulous thing to be!

On the run after going for a run? Sounds like you need to stop running. Lie down on the pavement, face down. Play dead. Perfect! That'll make it right for sure!
