This year's clickable/hidden item is a Jinjah (very fitting for this time of year). The animations also don't use Flash Today's Jinjah location You get two chances to click it, as it occurs near the end of the animation, after the Christmas Aisha opens the door the the Advent Calendar. It is a bit of a blink and you'll miss Link to the Calendar Collect your prizes

Happy first day of Month of Celebrating and the return of the Advent Calendar, woot! DAY 1: Been Waiting All YearANIMATION: A cute animation and what better way to start off the Advent Calendar than by having an animation showing it opening. And is it just me, or is the animation quality nice and fluid? I know they're using HTML5 instead of Flash, would that affect anything (though that just reminds me that the older animations are in danger of being lost if not converted into HTML5, maybe someone can collect them on Youtube if they haven't already). Nitpicks: Okay, yes, Aisha are able to open their eyes though usually only in surprise (also I think they only have a pupil, no iris). Also, isn't that Skeith suppose to be Mulkus Vile?
PRIZES: Starting off with a book, very nice. Not really much to say about the Gift, maybe it would have been a nice Furniture item.

You know, I thought that was a new feature... I think it's really awesome that you can mute the sound now.

I would say that this Advent Calendar is off to a decent start, with a nice, meta look on the Advent Calendar itself. Amusingly, I received the hidden gingerbread man by accident while right-clicking to see the HTML5 menu.
Though I did experience this odd quirk where the animation was misplaced far below its normal spot on the page where I got my prize, blocking the buttons on the bottom and some of the prizes. Is that just me?

I quite like today's Advent Calendar entry :3 It's simple and fitting for the first day, and the prizes are nice as well =D (and I may or may not be those clueless pets sometimes, almost like I'm staring outside the AC building's windows and wishing, sooooon) Though I did experience this odd quirk where the animation was misplaced far below its normal spot on the page where I got my prize, blocking the buttons on the bottom and some of the prizes. Is that just me? Nah, same thing happened to me. Not sure what'd be causing it, but hopefully it doesn't become a recurring issue =o

DAY 2: Sibling FrenzyANIMATION: So if I got the story, AAA took some of Abigail's Usuki and hid them in his room, Abigail decides to get back she'll just move all her Usuki into his room to play some video games, and so AAA's punishment is having to put back all of Abigail's Usuki. Cute.
PRIZES: Hm, there wasn't a Usuki for AAA or Abigail before? Well, I guess there is now so rejoice Usuki collectors.

Today's hidden Jinjah Appears right after the sand castle is destroyed by the wave. It's large enough to be spotted, but you still have to be quick about it

DAY 3: Oh Sand Castle, Oh Sand CastleANIMATION: Cute. Though reveals those Faeries are lazy, they can materialize objects yet still send us on quests to get them certain items. #XandraWasRight
PRIZES: The Decorated Sand Castle is cute though limited uses (can't see too many Christmas parties on the beach). Sand Terrarium is a gift, that's all I can and have to say about it (maybe it would have made a good furniture *shrugs*). DAY 4: Crown HardANIMATION: A fun little adventure romp but nothing really Christmas-y/holiday about this one. Like I was expecting either when the Cannibals show up or after waking up and going into the temple for real for the Cannibals to do something holiday related like offer Jake a present of a holiday-looking version of the crown or reveal they were having a holiday meal and invite him to join them.
PRIZES: Why isn't the crown wearable? Well, at least Jack's hat is, and now I can sell the Relic Crown for 300,000 Poke Dollars.

Today's Jinjah Just after Jake enters the tomb, but before he picks up the crown Also, I have added a link to the Calendar in the first post. EDIT: There's also editorial question regarding the Calendar, which I think is relevant.

Looks like today's Advent Calendar is glitched. I just get an "Oops" message.
Looks like they fixed it.

DAY 5: Secret WitchANIMATION: Oh, Chimi Magi, well it is Bruce Day. Indeed the animation is based on her lore, a witch who's hiding she's a witch. Funny, especially with the flamethrower broom (if I were those spying Neopets I would be more concerned than laughing).
PRIZES: Like, okay, she bought stuff from Uni Clothing as you can see on the bag but is that really enough justification to a have a Uni Clothing item? The Fire Spitting Broom would make for a fun witch costume for Halloween... even though this is for Christmas/Winter Holidays.

Today's animation was really cute, lol x3 And ooh, I didn't even know about Chimi Magi, kudos for using a rather obscure character =o
The Uni Clothing Shopkeeper cupcake does indeed seem rather odd for a prize, but the broom is pretty sweet x3
