Honestly, right now I'm mostly concerned with the fact that it's covering the Healing Springs... and the key to removing that is gated behind the newest Battledome challenger. xD; (I personally didn't have any trouble, but I could see how people who need to get a few copies of the newest ingredients might have some serious issues if they don't have out-of-battle healing items stashed away) Also, emoondo: It should work properly on Chrome (which is slightly annoying but workable, since I usually use Firefox for Neopets), if that is an option for you? In any case, I do wish they'd have an option to "push past the haze for now" or something so those parts of the site were actually usable in the meantime. Posting on the official Neoboards, or sending an Editorial question, or even filing a ticket might get a staffer's attention, for event feedback like that.

Adding onto what Coaster said, make sure that Flash is enabled on Neopets, because Chrome blocks Flash by default.

Oof. No sooner did you write that then: Another plot update! This time there is new dialogue, new achievements for Kaia, lockpicking, battling, and potion brewing, and there are five new areas that need cleared. I wonder how this is going to work with the Infirmary step since there is a hard cap on how many of each ingredient you can get. Oh I should have kept quiet xd Caught up with the newest step but I still need to get more ectoplasm. It seems so hard for them to drop or is it just me? Also, anyone else using Chrome and seeing the Jetsam floating between two beds?

If you've already gotten 35 in the past from battles, they won't drop anymore; otherwise they should drop frequently. I don't think I've gone three or four battles without seeing at least 1 drop. (and yes, I also see the Jetsam floating in between the two beds XD)

The Jetsam is still part wraith. His wraith powers are making him float in between the two beds. (Yes, I see that, too. )

I saw the Jetsam floating between the two beds until I turned off Adblock.
Adblock messes with a lot of TWR's code.

Curiously, the plot actually works a-okay with no Flash; I'm currently using Chrome on my mom's computer and don't want to tinker around with any of its settings (because one does not do that to other people's computers >>) so I've been doing all Neopets-things without Flash for a while. The Resistance HQ and the Battledome work fine and the rest of the plotstuff is daily pages. I've had to resort to using Jellyneo's links to locations or just straight-up googling some pages, because the rest of the site is all but unusable without Flash but on principle, it can be done. Annoying as it may be. I've been vaguely confused by the capping, especially since it kind of seems to be arbitrary, buuut I'm rather hoping that Ectoplasm won't be needed for future potions any more, considering that it's being used for the Infirmary >> If it's a community effort but people hold back on donating more than the required five potions in case the ectoplasm is needed for something else later, then that poor jetsam may never ever get better.

Based on what people have been posting, I don't think the Ectoplasm is dropping anymore at all regardless of how many you have. Some people who've started the plot late have been complaining on the boards that they aren't being awarded it at all, no matter how many times they battle the Snapjaw Wraith. A lot of people got a LOT of Ectoplasm from over-battling in the first step, so it's possible TNT either removed it or reduced its drop rate heavily. This whole drop thing is a huge mess ugh.

I am sure that I have not capped on Ectoplasm yet. Today I was able to get 5 or 6 more from battling. However I noticed that after I reached my daily NP limit (yes, not item limit) I was not able to get any more Ectoplasm D= It might have been coincidental and very unlucky though.

Interesting. Maybe Ectoplasm only drops during your normal 15 item drops, but still has the 35 total per user cap? I know most people have been doing daily battles against regular opponents for the drops and extra battles against wraiths for ingredients (since that works for the other three drops). Maybe that's what's happening here.

I wonder if it was a temporary glitch that got fixed.

Off that topic, but is it just my luck, or is the Wind Rider Wraith awfully generous in handing out codestones? It gave me seven the other day, six yesterday, and five today. I mean, not that I'm complaining.

I mean, not that I'm complaining. I can't remember how many codestones it gave me yesterday, but I do remember it being fairly generous. Also! Let's look at those weapons from the Faerie chests. Each one does 13 icons of a single type against the wraith that you get it for (Air for the Staff, Dark for the Key, and I think it was Physical for the Palm Blade thinger). This leads me to wonder if we'll get seven such weapons total to use against seven different wraiths. And related to that, I've been wondering if/how the wraiths will increase in difficulty. On Easy, Deathball has 5 more HP than Snapjaw, and Wind Rider has 6 more HP than that. So I wonder of the mext increase will be by 7, then 8, etc. Combining these two hypotheses, the final(?) wraith would have a difficulty of 91 on Easy. /wild speculation

So I wonder of the mext increase will be by 7, then 8, etc. Combining these two hypotheses, the final(?) wraith would have a difficulty of 91 on Easy. /wild speculation I don't think they'll have seven of these wraiths total. My reasons/guesses: The number of potions needed at each step so far has a set pattern: Snapjaw Wraith: Potion I (1 total) Deathball Wraith: Potions II and III (2 total) Windrider Wraith: Potions IV, V, and VI (3 total) Wraith: Potions VII, VIII, IX, and X (4 total) It was already leaked before that there would be ten potions total (back when TNT accidentally spoiled all of the remaining potion achievements during the first battling step), and if you look at the TWR headquarters, there are four notes total lying around. We've already used three of them, ergo there's one more note to be used for Mystic Murmurs in this series of battling steps. My guess is that they could possibly have one final mega-boss that's a community effort, much like the old plots, or it could just be an ultra-hard boss for each of us to defeat individually. Otherwise, they could also possibly release a new set of battling steps that doesn't involve murmurs, ridiculous locks, and other hoo-ha, which would totally throw us for a loop. However, given that they had originally planned for the plot to end in mid-December (and didn't because of the move), I don't think this will happen. Also can you imagine the outcry if the seventh Wraith had a starting HP of 91? XD Oh man, the site's users are basically split among those with battle pets and the vast majority of Neopians who don't have a battle pet; the former are constantly asking for harder opponents; the latter were thrown for a loop when the Wind Rider Wraith came out, because it wasn't like the others in that it had TWO sets of equipment to choose from, each dishing out a bunch of different icons.
